I watched both NCSU and UNC lose their games. Both were outhustled and pushed around for most of the game. UNC fan's forget State got it down to 10 before finally losing by 20.
UNC got it down to 6 because they pressed and Butler had probem's with a press. UNC still lost the game by 11 point's after getting it down to 6. I did not think that a UNC fan would actually take a moral victory of getting it to 6 point's.
Will UNC get better. Yes they will.
NCSU will get better itself by the end of the year.

Should be fun when ACC play starts.

LOL,Says the UNC fan on the State forum. Doesn't really make a UNC fan look to bright when they talk about how State fans care more about what goes on in Chapel Hill more than their own team and the UNC fan is posting it on a State forum. Looks like the UNC fan cares more about what goes on at State then they do at Chapel Hill. Claiming State fans are obcessed with UNC is one thing, but coming on a State forum and proving that UNC fans are obcessed with State, priceless. Speaks for itself, no futher proof needed.

Wow, so that means UNC will lose to at least 2 mid-majors this year.

Oklahoma State is ranked this week, Butler isn't. Oklahoma State is undefeated, Butler isn't. Excuses, excuses, excuses.

No, State fans care most about winning but, when we don't (and we have had a lot of that in the past couple of decades), UNC losing is a small comfort - especially considering the grief we get about being a second rate team. It IS pathetic that we have been at the bottom for so long but that does not make us a pathetic fanbase. I think it's great that so many of us have be true and strong through all of these rough years. Don't begrudge us a little happiness that we might, just might, have another fun, exciting season sometime.

Hans, I'm glad you actually get it! State fans care MOST about what goes on in Chapel Hill and then MAYBE what goes on with their teams! Its truly sad but when you've been at the bottom for so long all you can do is watch! Pathetic fanbase!!

This will certainly erase the sting of Sunday's debacle for the lunatic fringe because as we all know, in that realm a UNC loss is even better than a State win. I did not watch the UNC game, but from what I've read, it sounds like their team actually put up a fight instead of dying and crying like a certain other team we all know and love.

You're right, State is about the equivalent of a mid-major in basketball. In most sports, actually.

LOL, I have a feeling Butler would have manhandled State much worse.
I would have gladly traded Oklahoma State for Butler.

They had a bad game, just like UNC did. Butler was ranked to start the year. This shows that experience can often beat talent especially with a very good coach like Stevens.

Butler came out of the gates, punched UNC in the mouth and proceeded to kick them in the head a few times. I am happy they got up and got in a few strikes of their own.
I predicted UNC to have 2-3 losses entering ACC play, that looks like a good bet at this point.

Why is this in the wolves den? U just lost to a sub-par Butler team and you come here to down our team. Nice character. I know to ignore everything you type from here on out.

  • geraldr10 Nov 20, 2012

I saw Butler-xavier play last week and they(Butler ) looked awful. How did Carolina ever get down by 29 to them? I started wathcing at that point and they did almost come back. But a loss is a loss. Wide open race both in ACC and nationally this year. State has the most weapons if they will play to their potential. That TJ Warren looks like the real deal.

  • JacobSummersEsquire Nov 20, 2012

But to go from 29 down to bring it to six shows heart. No way state has that kind of heart. Cj Leslie and company don't have the eye of the tiger. Once this Unc team progresses look out foolS!! ROFLMAO!
