win or lose, state has a looong way to go

funny, how you now seem able to "see him as a PG".....
of course he's got to get back into a groove.... he hasn't played at this competitive level in well over 6 months, so assuming he's a full speed/skill by the 5th game of the season, is a bit much. I foresee him progressing and learning from his mistakes (ie- dribbling too tall). I also realize he (in particular) seemed to struggle during late game situations last year, but I also noticed a LOT of standing around watching him, as opposed to MOVING (see- Scott Wood), during those same game ending situations.
The Pack win and/or lose as a team, and Lo B just happens to be the floor general for them... so he's going to have to step his game up, no doubt.... but, to imply he doesn't have the ability or that "you can't see him as a PG", is mildly insane.
They've got work to do, just like EVERY OTHER team in America..... but, I feel supremely confident that Zo will get it done.... Gott will see to it.

i'm not saying he's a bad player, that would be absurd...if you go back and watch the crucial losses in the post-season, to unc and kansas, you will see that State had empty possesions at the end of those games, at crunch-time...they either dribbled too long, got off bad shots, or got off NO shot..people talk about the Marshall no call in the tourney, but State had at least 2 possessions after that shot, and didnt score(or even take a decent shot as i remember)...Brown is a good player, so winning more than losing with him at point is obviously not a problem, and his deficiencies wont be as visible in an 8-10 or more point win...its the down-to-the-wire games, where every decision is crucial, where you need a point guard totally comfortable with the position...maybe he will grow into the role, but right now he is averaging almost as many to's as assists(5.2/4.4)..that is not gonna cut it for your point guard, if you want to have post-season success

hang in there, and you might even learn more words to help get him INTO (<<hint- ADD that ONE word to your weak vocab, lil fella) the 80's!!!
you could be less intelligent, but it would take being "banded" to pull it off.

Nice win State. You guys came away with the W and that's all that matters. Many teams would have wilted under the relentless pressure Ashville applied. The better team won last night. I thought all along State could beat Ashville and they did. I'm sure that win will boost the RPI quite a bit and set State up for what should be a lock for a one seed. The win against Ashville cements State's dynasty over the college basketball world. I expect State will pick up quite a few votes for number one this week!

You may actually get flagged for excessively plagarizing yourself...and the Dr. goes to work on Broncoboy and he brought his lunch pail...yunno we got Thomas past his 50 or so word vocabulary in to the 70s at last count, but your brain cells seem to be a bit on the challenged side...all day long Chubs.
