Debbie Yow

RE: Debbie Yow

Dr. Yow is trending on Twitter

currently.

RE: Debbie Yow

So, was it her parking space at PNC Arena that had "Dr. Yow" on it or was it being called Dr. Yow during an interview/presser that caught your attention? Just trying to figure out if this is real or not.

please be real

It was the interview that "gott" my attention, and I came across the parking spot tidbit while doing research online. And yes, it is certainly a fact that she calls herself "Dr" after getting her honorary degrees.

Well then you need to do some more research online. Anybody receiving an honorary doctrine does in fact carry the official title of Dr.

You don't know Jack about what it takes to earn a doctorate. You are what makes me get a tad fed up on here. Read some. It will educate you. I promise. Dismal post!

Don't get your panties in a wad, Hokie. People have the option to use the title if they wish. It is what it is. I am sure most people know if someone "earned" their Doctorate or not.

RE: Debbie Yow

Thanks! Turns out, she never actually completed a doctorate or even a master's. She received "honorary" doctorates from Elon and Liberty though so she calls herself Dr. Yow.

LOL!

So let me get this straight: she has an undergrad, was awared two honorary doctorates, is the AD at a major division 1 school, AND has her own parking place. While you, on the other hand, have an undergrad from Orange County Community College and are still slinging burgers on Thanksgiving.

I wonder who's doing better here. HAHAHAHA

You're right about Yow-she has two fake doctorates. Wrong about me, though...Orange County Community College doesn't exist (I believe Durham Tech handles that in Orange County) and I don't work with you at McDonald's. Now, your manager there might have a degree from UNC, but I can assure you, I'm not him.

Now hurry back to work, the fry vat could use some cleaning.

Yeah, thrill is an EMS tech

Nope. Wrong there as well.

Nope. I agree with Hokie. Personally, doctorates don't impress me much, and I don't find the need to call somebody "Dr." However, not actually earning a doctorate and demanding to be called "Dr." is so beyond pathetic it's off the charts and reeks of an over-inflated ego.
