i'm not completely sold on this...only because i don't know how well he'll be able to recruit. he certainly has the offensive know how, and the defense should be ok if he hires a solid def coord (maybe tenuta).

does he have the name recognition and personality that top tier recruits will be drawn to? that's the million dollar question. or two million i guess in this case.

This is NOT NCSU's best option.

No way you give a guy 1.5-2 million that's making $750K coaching in the WAC with a 22-15 record. Also, the spread shucks ! Unless you like going to track meets instead of football games.

If can't get BCS/ known name coach such as Franklin...AGAIN, Dave Doeren ( DC b-4 HC ). 22-4, 15-1, Conf.Champ, won bowl.

This year lost season opener by ONE point to a B1G team. Then won 11 straight to play in consecutive(2) Conf. Chanpionsip games. Won the 1st.(last year)
