So, NOW we need to wait 'til March when all the thumpers were ready to crown 'em in September? When all us rational fans said "Wait until March"?

I dont read all the posts but I havent seen where any Wolfpack fan crowned them Nat Champs in Sept. The ones that did post about this team being a potential NCAA Tournament team were labeled "chest-thumpers" Ive been around and gotten to know alot of Pack fans, and I agree there are some on the lunatic fringe, but Ive yet to meet a fan (of any team) that so consistently speaks nothing but negativity about the team they claim to back as you do. Rational? Not really
I would dare say that the "chest-thumpers" are closer to being rational "fans" than poor Hansy is. At least the chest thumpers want the Pack to do well. Hans hates State students so much he calls them "slobbering drunks," (though is conspicuously quiet when UNC's punter kicked a guy's teeth in at 3am on Franklin St, or a frat member falls to his death after getting drunk and climbing on heavy machinery at a cement factory in Carrboro) and wants so badly for State to lose that he takes each defeat as an opportunity to jump on here and say "I told you so." Reference this thread and countless others for proof. The guy is so miserable you want to feel sorry for him, but such and incessant whiner you just want it to stop.
i agree...to him, state fans are the epitome of no class but everyone else is blameless and perfect. i think he would make a good psychology experiment subject.

Hansy is far more expendable than your average lab rat.
Only her mother would miss her, whereas the lab rat likely has a host of friends!

the mighty Wolfpack is the best team in the ACC again? While they're getting blown out by unranked teams and barely squeaking by UNC-Asheville, Duke is making mincemeat out of the top 5.

Hans, once again you are spot on! Gott and his players are too worried about the officiating once again. That seems to be the mentality of the State program! We are all learning quicky that Gott (for now) can recruit but is lacking in actually coaching his players! Just a matter of time before Debbie starts looking for a replacement!

The Media does this. It's their job. Some coaches quell this notion, and make them go to work. If they were (K'Tucky) last year, you can run with it.
A Sweet 16 can't afford to do this. Quell the notion. State's coaches got caught up just like the players. "NC State's starting 5 are the best in the Country." per one writer. B Sugar. Jay Williams....another sugar comment. State has some things to work out.
Duke is the only team that has delivered thus far in the ACC. They have a blue collar work ethic right now. I'm a long time ACC fan, and I do keep up with my readings. For any team/school to keep on talking about officiating is a dismal excuse. Gott was lucky to get this job because of his friendship with Yow. Lutz is the smarter one on this entire staff. He's recruited most all of the top notch players. Heck. It's all about reading and watching a little.
