All this negative talk about State.....

We're still in good shape. We're working the kinks out and we're still growing. Our two losses were to two great teams. Look at how well we played at the end of last year, so imagine how good we'll be playing with these guys by the time March rolls around.

If you remember state is looking better than they did this time last year. A run at the final 4 looks with in reasonable reach at this time. UNLV is going to beat unc like a drum,in the circus tent. That should be fun to watch. These are the times I really miss listing to woody durham crying the blues on the radio trying to make excuses for a losing team.

The fact that they played well at the end of March last year does not automatically mean they will be playing well at the end of March this year.

State is probably better this year, but you really can't tell comparing records with the past two years. Two losses at about the same point in the schedule. Maybe ahead if beating this UConn team is compared to losing to #1 Syracuse in a close game last year (and a closer one two years ago).

Carolina is certainly weaker this year, but we knew that in June. And Duke seems far better than any other ACC team at the moment.

.... and look at how well STATE played last night in beating U-Conn, that's the way I like it, oh yes, oh yes, and that's the way they should play from this point on!
