Top 5 Largest North Carolina Universities - Look who is now #2 to #4

As opposed to the projected enrollments typically announced in August, the Triangle Business Journal recently published updated university enrollments for fall 2012. While most school sizes dipped about 3.5% one saw their enrollment drop 11% from 2011.

#1 - NCSU
#2 - ECU
#3 - UNC-Ch(arlotte)
#4 - UNC-CH

Not sure what your point is. Chapel hill has been controlling enrollments (limiting) for 20-30 years. Number of applicants eac year is now about 30,000. Acceptance rate is fairly low, particularly for out of state students.

Duke really must be a terrible school, given that they have a tiny enrollment.

They are desperately trying to find a ranking that puts NC State ahead of UNC. Don't think this is what they are looking for, though.

Didn't think so. Most people only accept cash these days.

You sure? I hear it's very hard to do that these days when you make less than $40k a year. But then again I wouldn't know. I graduated with a degree that people actually value. ROFL!!!

Yep, positive!

I could have easily gone to the business school at Carolina and come out with a job that offered six figures (or close to it) starting out. Plenty of my friends did just that. I chose to do a profession that I enjoy, though. There's more to life than money. I'd rather get paid less to do a job that I love than get paid more to do a job that I hate. Can't put a price tag on happiness.
