Sorry duuuuuuuhhh, just yanking your chain.

Dedicated wralsportsfan followers know duane11 = the outspoken leader in the "Fire TOBy Now" movement that really started gaining momentum after Russell was kicked to the curb and you lambasted Turkey Neck Glennon for shunning away from competition.

Kudos for raising the wolffie football program expectations bar (we can clearly read how unsatisfied you were with those hollow bowl victories and that Turkey Neck evolved into a turnover machine).

The media had us overrated at #6 and we're underrated at #23. Although we started off slow, especially in the loss to OSU, we've come together very well as of late and we're starting to show flashes of why we were picked so highly in the preseason (what Mr. Tudor was alluding to). I wish the same could be said for UNC at this point but hopefully they can get it figured out before conference play starts.

  • State Internal Investigator Dec 26, 2012

State obviously has low expectations. Particularly when they drop from #6 down to # 25. You must be so proud. After 2 decades of rebuilding you are a #25 team.

since we are being specific, and since you save other peoples posts on a zip drive to throw it back in their faces, show me the post where i "was a staunch defender of keeping" TOB "for years to come"....well, can you do it..PUNK?
"TOB had his time, punked you and your team(5-1*), and has his team positioned for a 3rd straight bowl win...something unc, wake forest, duke, vatech, gatech, miami, uva, maryland, boston college and clemson are still working towards....thats 10 acc teams that can't do something as simple(?) as win consecutive bowl games...i'm happy that TOB was able to do this, since 10 other teams, including yours, can't seem to figure it out...i'm ready for Doeren...are u?"
why do you run from this part of my post?

  • State Internal Investigator Dec 26, 2012

State is 25 and UNC is 27. Hardly the diffeence expected by the state fans. Also will change soon as UNC beats UNLV!

All the Natty championship celebrations for the pack in September seem to have dwindled down since they barely can stay in the top 25.

It was well over a year ago that kato clearly outlined why TOBy and his wolffies were borderline mediocre, AT BEST -- and the overall body of work was not enough to differentiate him/them from 90% of the ACC.

As much as you and other wolffies hate to admit it, kato was CORRECT in his analysis that TOBy should/would be fired.

To be more specific, duuuuuuhhhhhhhhhhh was a staunch defender of keeping the hard-headed, RW curb-kicking, mediocre coach for years to come.

The Heels are ready for Fedora's second season as UNC's head man -- are you???

  • Toddler10-21 Dec 26, 2012

Agreed. But you guys dont want Ville, Dame, Pitt, Cuse, and U Conn in the ACC. These schools will make the ACC so much better. It wont be total domination by Duke/UNC with these teams coming.

Dude, yer killin' me! Are you at Goodnight's this weekend?

First of all, the UNLV game is not for another week.

Secondly, Carolina has been blown out by every decent team they've played, plus one that is not even decent. And they gave up 61 second half points to ECU. So good luck with UNLV!

Meanwhile, UNLV is licking their chops at the opportunity to pad their win total with the easiest win of their season!

    LOL, stop dude. Just stop!

On a given night, State is capable of a bad showing, but it is generally unexpected.

On a given night, Carolina is capable of a "decent" showing, but that is also generally unexpected.

I think it's going to be a long season for the Holes (and I DON'T mean that in the sense that it will run long due to a deep run in the postseason!)
