NC State Cracks the Top 25 in "Best Value" Rankings

Coming in at #21 on the list. Naturally, UNC was ranked #1 for the 12th consecutive year.

Oh yeah, Carolina is THE best value. All you have to do is get accepted and you automatically get a degree.

Sad for state to just now break into the ratings so very far behind UNC. The real value of a state degree vs a UNC is much less as the average UNC grads starts out easily making more than a state fan.

I don't think you can say that accurately, no legitimate income studies have been done that compare all alumni from the two schools. Easy to see how an NC State engineering grad would make more than a UNC english major, and by the same token your typical UNC K-F Business School grad is going to make a lot more than your typical NC State history major.

Glad to see the UNC system represented well in this ranking, though.

Naturally, most people admitted to Carolina worked hard throughout high school and are used to academic success. They typically continue these work habits in the classroom, which in turn makes it very easy for them to graduate.
