Sorry that State lost today. I was pulling for them until the end. It would have helped the ACC to win another. 5 TO's will wreck any team. I went through both pages, and I truly didn't read much to write about. Heck. I hope Clemson can pull the deal tonight. Bible gave it his best shot.

I just looked and he is trying to say U Conn however the week 4 they played state kollege they were not ranked. Again...the senility is there and it has to hurt. nice try though Olf Furt.....we will chalk this one up to your age and not being a liar!

I thought it was UConn also. It wasn't? If that's true, I stand corrected. Will you P L E A S E help me find the poll that has UNC ranked this week....higher than State? I STILL can't find it?

...when the TOB cloud is finally lifted off the fball program. this game fully epitomizes his tenure at nc state. moments of pretty good outnumbered by periods of what the eff. not to mention the lack of in game adjustments by the coaching staff.

Depends on how Doernen can recruit going into the signing period. He may pull a rabbit or two out of the hat, but he will most likely need another year of recruiting and a chance to red shirt...just can't rush physical maturity. If he would have had this team this year and done better than TOBy, he'd be set up with a good recruiting class. TOBy probably should have been gone last year just so this would have been the 1st full recruiting class under the new coach. If he is as good as he appears to be, hopefully he can get some upside to whats left and make a bowl game or two. QB is the huge elephant in the room.

this recruiting year is basically a done deal with 95% TOB recruits so i agree that doeren will need at least 2 yrs of recruiting to truly start making the team his own. as for qb, i don't know if he'll be able to lure asiantii woulard (#1 dual threat qb) to raleigh but that will be a big help...he's supposed to make his commitment announcement at the us army all american bowl on 5 jan. manny stocker can run good enough and his arm strength is adequate...i think the coaches will help ease the pressure on whoever the new guy is with creative play calling, using single or double reads in the passing game instead of making him survey the field, decipher the coverage, and then make the throw.

i think we can all agree the playbook will be more than an index card thick next season.
