just occurred in the Michigan-South Carolina Outback bowl game. After the referee GAVE Michigan a first down (when the chain clearly showed the ball was short an inch or two), No. 7 for South Carolina knocked the helmet off the Michigan RB AND the ball loose, recovering for USC.

Look for it on Sportscenter later. It WILL be there.

I didn't see that one yet. But I would contend that State laid the hit of the year on a Vandy player. It was the one that was called a personal foul for smacking down a "defenseless player", which was NOT the case. Still makes me mad they penalized one of the best football hits you'll ever see. Our guy even lowered his head, like he didn't want to hit the Vandy player's helmet. But he hit the bottom of his helmet anyway. Definitely wasn't malicious. Just a crushing block.

I look forward to seeing the hit you described.

Earl Wolff put a hit on the Vandy QB yesterday on a blitz. He layed there for a few minutes. Wolff will be playing on Sundays. No team recruited him except for NC State. 1st team All ACC. He can hurt people. He made tackles all over the field yesterday, and this year.

Saw that hit, and it was ferocious. The hit TBK was talking about was illegal in today game, but not in the past.
The hit on the vand qb by the state player was illegal and dirty. A helment to the mouth is definitely illegal.
TBK and his crew always seem to want to hijack a thread with their own sheet.

The wolfers had a number of dirty hits throughout the game and in several cases players should have been tossed out. State kollege always gets frustrated when losing and throws the rule book out the window.

So you didn't see the hit Tommy is talking about but you post that the one you witnessed by the Pack the "hit of the year". Really? ...take off the Red Coke Bottle Bottom Glasses Badger, because all you did was admit none of your opinions has any shred of objectivity.
