    LOL.

99.9 was talking to a reporter covering the combine. The guy mentioned a particular lineman's huge feet and also commented on Glennon's elongated (turkey)neck.

Glennon needs to hit the right team at the right time to do well. I think he can do well at a team with an above average O-line that will give him decent time to pass and read defenses. If he goes early in the 1st round he will do horrible because most of those teams needing a QB don't have very good O-line. But if he lucks up and ends up on a team that suits him well and learns how to read Defenses better, then I can see him doing some good things.

I was watching the Combine last night and they had him listed 3rd. Interesting Mark Thomas had a better time in the forty.

Geno Smith was widely considered the top quarterback prospect in the 2013 NFL Draft prior to the NFL Scouting Combine. And Smith only strengthened his position with a solid performance.

Why would I write a letter? Whata stupid comment. If you did your job correctly 33% of the time, you'd be looking for another one. My point was, in case you missed it, is that not many can be very good at this work if 33% accuracy is rated "best."

Write a letter.... Of course 33% is above average... You're essentially being asked to read the minds of 32+ people.

He puts more into and gets more out if his work, than does anyone in his field.

The facts bear that out :)

this was a blog from some guy on espn

Down: N.C. State QB Mike Glennon -- Glennon threw for 383 yards and a touchdown in the Wolfpack's loss to Vanderbilt in the Music City Bowl, but he also threw three picks and appeared to press at times, especially in the first half when he threw two interceptions. On the first, Glennon threw downfield off his back foot and got caught locking on to his receiver. All the safety had to do was read Glennon's eyes and drift under the ball. The second pick is a product of the same bad habits. Glennon locked on once again, and tried to force a ball into coverage while pressure was preventing him from stepping into the throw. Glennon doesn't sidestep pressure well, and a third-quarter fumble was a result of him holding the ball too long. On his third interception, he was simply late on a fade route from the 25-yard line and the corner was able to settle under the ball. Glennon needed to show more poise, especially given that he threw two or more picks in five games this season, and his TD-to-INT ratio fell compared to last season. He has an early-second round grade at this point, but Glennon's lack of awareness and pocket presence, along with his limited athleticism, are going to come under scrutiny in the coming months.

I'm probably not as harsh as you Duane but Logan I think pegged him really well yesterday on The Loganzone. I don't get paid to endorse but he is a blast to listen to as far as breaking down the nuances of football coaching and player development, and he gets some really good callers who at times have played. Much of what you posted is what Logan stated, and he felt MG a "project", meaning not ready to start. It makes you really think about TOBy letting RW go for MG since the disparity in the two is even more glaring given RWs success in the NFL. As he said, if he knew Taj Boyd, he'd be encouraging him with all possible means to enter the draft as he would be the #1 QB due to his bowl game heroics in a weak draft and may start immediately. ...and Mel is not always right.

on topic, if i was a scout, and took in the NCSU bowl game, i would not consider drafting MG...terrible decisions(which Bible tried to take the blame for...fail), no pocket awareness, and refusing to run when he has an open field ahead of him...he had a chance to light up vandy, and wilted

Yes, State's bowl game was embarrassing, but nobody has ever embarrassed the ACC as much as UNC has over the last couple of years. Actually that goes right up there with some of the most embarrassing scandels in history, both in atheletics and academics. So when we hear a UNC fan talk about how State was embarrassing, it just makes us laugh. To even call somebody else embarrassing after UNC's scandel is embarrassing in itself. Embarrassing yourself, "the new Carolina way".

While I'm not a big Glennon fan and would much rather have had Wilson and took a chance on this year, it would not have ended up much worse. Glennon will be a much better pro QB. He just needs to learn to read the defenses a little better, he definitely has the arm. As far as cinderblock feet, there still is such a thing as a pocket passer. You sure don't see Brady, Brees, Ryan and a few others running all over the place
