NC State starting ACC play away....

OK, it has been well documented that we start ACC play away far more than any other team in ACC football play. I'm interested to know that figure for basketball. Que someone writing I'm crying about it. Not-just interested with the frequency we start ACC play away. FYI: TOB never started ACC play at CF. Hard to argue that this isn't odd.

Oh well, at least there's balance. State plays away games early, but at least that is offset by Duke and Carolina playing home games early.

State- 1 road game in first 3
Duke- 1 road game in first 3
Carolina- 2 of first 3 are road games.

They each play 5 road games in their first 10...

Since you mentioned football firstly. VT has opened with the toughest football schedule of all ACC teams since 04. It didn't pay any dividends lately.

No one has played Duke's basketball schedule in basketball home nor away. OK. Most are at home. Smart scheduling. Playing away should help State. It shows the coaches and players what they need to work on...especially at BC. They won. I'll take it. They are shooting 53.5% FG's. This will go down soon in my opinion. Wood saved them yesterday. I'll take it anytime. Take this win a run fast.

VT had to play a strong Maryland team away yesterday.

MD is my surprise team in the ACC. If they play the big 3 two times, they should split two and beat at least 1 team twice. I will place MD right behind Duke right now. State is 3rd. UNC, Miami, and FSU and maybe UVA are in a toss-up. Things will shake out tonight if UVA plays a slow down game.

Perhaps you meant "build a bridge". Not sure how I could build a bride. NC State is the Technological leader of this state so perhaps one day. I wasn't making excuses for poor play. I really don't give a care about NC State basketball and I think most on here who have read my posts would agree that I am consistent on this fact. My point is the consistency of which we start ACC play away. Hokie points out their tough schedule, and make no mistake, opening with Boise State was a tough bill. This; however, wasn't a question about tough schedules or poor play against BC. My question was about the number of times we open away. I'll admit, I haven't followed our basketball program since 2009. I just happened upon the game Saturday and watched. It struck me as interesting that we started ACC play away. I could care less where anybody else started. My question was about where NC State started. There is no knowledgeable ACC fan that can argue that NC State football hasn't started ACC play away a disproportional number of times. I was curious if this was the same for basketball....

So back to that bride building...

For those interested in facts and not just name calling, we haven't started ACC football play at home since 2006. There is no other team in the ACC with a similar schedule.
