Cuss let's have some serious discussion here. Is carolina's problem more from lack of talent, lack of execution, or lack of coaching? All or none of the above?

Lack of Talent?-Yes, but only in the Post, where there is no legit center!
Lack of Coaching?-No. This is Roy's MO and has been for years. Why change now!
Lack of Execution?-Yes. Too much AIMLESS DRIBBLING! LOL!

Lack of a experience at point and 5 postion. A freshman point guard is definitely hurting the heels. Duke has a junior point guard and a sophomore point guard with experience. Lack of an experienced big man in the post. Duke has Plumlee a senior, who didn't play much during his freshman year.
Losing the twins to UCLA. Roy never replaced them. If they were still at UNC, this team would be much better. Injuries to Strickland, who still hasn't gotten over the injury, and may never. The loss of Larry Drew, or putting his money on Drew instead of another point guard.
The good thing is this year the team is not very good, but next year this team will be much better. Also, this team will stay together for a while and the incoming recruits will add to the team next year. So, this team will just get better and better, because it has no where to go but up.
I agree Roy can't compete with K's recruiting. K is getting the top recruita every year.
Duke has 3 seniors who know the system and a junior point guard that knows the system. If they don't win it with the combination they have this year, they can forget it.
Roy is a good coach, but tell me when coach k has lost 4 nba draft picks in one season off the starting lineup. So bash UNC while you can, it won't last forever, and you're aware of that.

Can't add much to that. Duke and Carolina have almost exact opposite roles this year. Duke with more game time experience at each position and solid point play which is absolutely essential for any title hopes. We talk smack on here for sure but it would have been very interesting if KM hadn't been injured last year.

Right Mo, the second best team in the ACC might be Duke's second 5, and sdding Parker next year. K is out recruiting everyone in the country.

Actually, it's very typical. When they're winning, or, your team is losing, they come out of the woodwork to rub it in your noses. When they lose, you can't find one.
They can dish it out, but, they can't take it. Seen it for decades.
