Not exactly what I said, but as it serves yourself. I dont expect State to win out, and I also dont think unc winning against Miami in the 3rd game of 18 will have a huge effect on the Pack. How the Wolpack play their schedule will have more of an impact.

Ok...Ill play along a little longer. Honestly, for me personally, the jury is still out on the holes. Ive seen spurts of good play followed by terrible runs and out of sync play. I havent watched but a few minutes of Miami this season so I judge them solely by stats.

On paper Miami should finish well ahead of the boys from Chapel Hill, but Ive been around ACC basketball too long to count out unc or duke this early in conference play.

I'll concede your point. The only time I saw UNC play this season was parts of the UVA game, and they looked bad. Real bad. Perhaps I am letting the talk of their demise by the lunatic fringe cloud my judgement too much.

I will be pulling for neither team tonight. I am an ACC fan and if my team isn't playing in the game, then I just watch the game for its entertainment value. If on the other hand, an ACC team is playing an out of conference game, I pull for the ACC team regardless of who they are....UNC, Duke, Maryland, Va, etc.

I could be wrong (calm down, don't worry - it doesn't happen very often), but from what I've seen so far, I think Miami will have more wins in the ACC than Carolina this season. Now, if we're serious about State finishing at or near the top, it would make more sense to pull for UNC in this one. What say ye? Can the lunatic fringe pull for a certain team for pragmatic reasons, or does the obsession trump all and reaffirm that it is better for something bad to happen to UNC than something good happen to State?
