Come on Staats!!

I've realized that when Hans attributes something to the "lunatic fringe", it's either something HE said in the past, or he's making it up. If he gets specific enough, I'll go back and find proof that he either lied about it, or is telling the truth, when I have time. Make no mistake about it; he is NOT a State fan.

A little more of that Carolina Class you bragged about in another thread?

Can't remember. Probably one of the usual suspects. This was way back when either when it was announced he was walking on or during the ESPN name contest.

My bet is on this waking Staats up and him becoming a better and stronger person/player out of this. At least there is no one blaming it on STRESS and the coach is not saying "well he acted better then that in practice". Straight clear talk from the coach, he screwed up, if he dose it again he is gone! Good think about Tobacco Rd we all get to watch it unfold between now and March 14th before our eye's.

Hans, who said that he was going to be any sort of key to our season? I do think he will take advantage of his second chance and hopefully we can see him out there more in the future (meaning we have some ACC games wrapped up early)

To which the parents replied "Please stop staring at our daughter."

I heard today that he hurt his ankle and that is why he hasn't dressed out the last 2 games. Gott also said he has talked to Staats and his parents re the DUI.

He wasn't drunk but he had been drinking and was underage. Should have known better but he's a good guy and comes from a good family. Hopefully he'll use this as a learning experience.
