No crown, didn't ask for one and didn't buy one. Is there a crown? I was not advised that the honor existed to be granted Royalty of Smack. I just love the art of blogwar on those who be a hating. So sez Sun Tzu Rameses. B)

BTW, check out the story on the wheelchair kid. I was really yoked about that one.

I do post quite a bit about sports, just did about the NCSU game. If there weren't so many Red Ragers and Blue Haters, I'd not have so much work to do. Notice I don't start all the troll threads and I don't hate on players like many others do. I don't pick e-fights, I just finish them. B)

    ...and your screenname is "heelscheat".

Yeah...we can tell you're "all about" NCSU sports.

    LOL!!!

I find it amusing that some of you on here make light of someones personal problems, and I'm referring to the NC State athlete charged with underage drinking. Yes I'm a big Wolfpack fan, but I find more joy in beating the Tarheels and Bluedevels in anything whether it be basketball, football, bass fishing or checkers. I personally think if we were to ask one of the greatest players in tarheel and basketball history he would have a total different outlook on alcohol he would have a different opinion and I am referring to the great Phil Ford. Regardless of how many championships or games he won, he would tell us his greatest victory was defeating alcohol. Dig at the rivalries and have fun when your team wins, but leave the personal problems at bay, remember we've all had and still have problems that we're not proud of .

Do you even talk SPORTS anymore? Lately, all you've done is pick e-fights with others. C'mon man! I KNOW you're better than that.

At least he didn't wreck the car and have a local "University" friendly police officer sweep it under the carpet.

What if you had never been dropped on your head? What if you had finished high school? What if you had not said "yes" when that guy in the bar said "trust me".

If they were drinking Zima, kicking their *** wouldnt be a much of a problem.

  • RAA0013 Jan 11, 2013

I"m wondering about the whole Zima aspect of this. Coors stopped producing it in the US in 2008. It's still marketed in Japan and I doubt that is where the party was <sarcasm>. But whatever they were drinking seriously...college kids drink underage all the time and if they get caught there are consequences. He is paying the price. Why are the UNC fans acting holier than thou on this? ALE officers are on every campus in this state including Chapel Hill!

Zima? They don't even make that **** any more. Maybe somebody's got a big stash somewhere. Anyways, I don't care if they were drinking, but if they were drinking Zima, somebody needs to kick their ***.

Well, if someone else is supplying the alcohol, you pretty much drink what they have unless you want to spend your own coin on something different.

If the party host was serving up Zima, it was probably a Carolina fan trying to get State players in trouble.

No wonder the hole team has so many issues. The ewe's want to spend their time dealing with and making up with issues of the better teams then staying at home and dealing with their own. But from the way ewe's think I can understand this, it takes less effort to bring someone else down then to get your own back on track.

OMG College kids drinking? The horror!! Glass houses people. Few college graduates finish school without drinking at some point, underage or not. It is as common to college life as books and swahili courses. The problem with what Battle did was he chose to drive after drinking.

Considering all the bad press UNC has recieved over the years related to alcohol use amongst coaches, players and students, I cant understand why a heel fan started a second thread on this.

I have cousin who attended the same party where Battle did his underage drinking. He said he witnessed Battle, Calvin Leslie, and Purvis funneling Zimas.

Jim Martin is going to conduct a review, and then announce this has nothing to do with alcohol consumption or driving.

I notice the coach has not let him dress out for the last two games. Good that his inappropriate behavior is being addressed immediately.

He wasn't drunk but he had been drinking and was underage. Hopefully he learns something from this.
