Wow, NCSU got very little respect for that win. Rankers must see through their smoke and mirrors.

Depleted Duke team? They were missing one player who was replaced by McD All Amaricans. Curry played 32 minutes of the game and scored his usual points. Time to wake up to the present instead of living in the past.

Actually TJS.. the NC State Wolfpack, under the Original ACC legendary coach, Everett Case, is the true Original Royalty of the ACC.

Everett Case and NC State began the ACC Basketball tradition.

And every knowledgeable Terd Hole and Dookie knows that.
Which is why they've always had such intense Packer envy, even to this very day.

Nothing will ever change the fact that NC State is THE FIRST King of ACC Basketball. All others have merely followed in our footsteps.

The footsteps that prove NC State led the way.

When you have no past (at least for the last three decades) thats probably a great philosophy. Since UNC is steeped in rich tradition we prefer to relish the blue blood title. Keep it up if it helps you cope with years and years of irrelevance.

Lol. This is 2013. Go live in your time warp if you wish. Only those for whom the present is unpleasant feel the need to live in the past.

Speaking of grandfathers, why dont you dig yours up and ask him about the last time state won anything. Try accomplishing something first besides beating a depleted dook team and get back to me. So dream a little dream about that fluke 1983 team and tell gramps I said what's up.

I think there is a good shot Louisville will sneak in at #1 in either or both the ap and coaches polls... The one big thing against duke being that ncsu was their first true road game. BUT the resume iz still very impressive... could hold on in a close vote.

    lol
Yet another tarheel fan steps out of his second-hand delorean time machine and blames the messengers that he didn't arrive in 2009.

Here's a clue: what your granpappy did don't cover the checks in THIS game. Do something this year and then talk smack.... or sit in your porch rocker and pretend its still 20 ought 9.

You would think with how the Dookie lovers were crying about being so weak without Kelly that they shouldn't even be ranked at all without him in the lineup.

Well... of course totally mia on this poll. But the power rating I saw puts them at 65th.... right behind colorado and above st marys college.

Maybe the ap guys will still bring you a point or two... but don't get excited yet! I said "maybe"!

Interesting. Of course, cbs closely resembles the ap and coaches polls.... but i guess one would have to actually follow basketball to know that.

    Nice "Lux": prepubescent much?
