Not to mention I think there is a big difference between trolls on these boards. There are "good" trolls and "bad" trolls. "Good" trolls talk a lot of smack (which is what these boards are for) but are actually capable of doing so in an adult manner. "Bad" trolls....well, we see them here every day.

Personally, I'd count the "good" trolls as myself, Killing Time, TBK, Paula and Kato and SAC only when they stay away from personal attacks. "Bad" trolls would be hal, sassie, and that dude who keeps posting about nail painting every week. Keep the good trolls and get rid of the bad ones.

I'm just an optimist I guess. I guess it is back to csnbbs for some real sports discussion. :)

Thanks for labeling me as a "bad" troll. What an idjut you are! You talk as much or more smack as anyone here and yours can indeed get truly rediculous. I think you might want to take another look in the mirror.

And in the meantime you can bite my......tail! LMFAO!!! Whata jurk Chapelthrill is and nice way to get UNC fans pitted against one another. Way to go Einstein!

What's sadder to me is that it isn't just threads in the smack talk forums that get hijacked. Theoretically, this is the place to go if you prefer childish insults to talk about actual sports. I think that WRAL naively thought that if they created a place for smack talk they could keep the conversation on sports news articles civil. Clearly, they were wrong.

The problem is that you really can't just go to another site. There aren't any, unless you are interested more in CUSA or the Sunbelt. If you want to talk about things related to Triangle sports, this is pretty much the only game in town. It would help if you had the ability to ignore/hide posts by the worst of the trolls who inhabit this place, but they change/add identities so often that's futile.

I would hate to see you go, but I understand that the bad will always drive out the good, and there aren't many of the interesting posters left on this site.

Ken, try csnbbs.com There are sections for all the conferences. The ACC section has a lot more of the new school posters but there are some State, Carolina, Clemson, WF and FSU fans there too. There are some pretty good discussions there and conference realignment has it's own forum.
