You do realize that those three games are as much a part of the present as 13-0, right?

What if? Well if what ifs were facts then I guess you win the argument. How clueless are these UNC-CHeat trolls.

Wouldn't have been worth it if he had been injured or Purvis had been lost for the season. Understanding something very difficult for you. Dropping out of high school wasn't a good decision for you.

Like I said I thought that degree you got from Wake Tech included english. I guess it's not required with that HVAC degree.

You know when I first saw it I didn't think that it could have ben planned by Yow, but after listening to Will on the David Glenn show I realized that it was probably staged by Yow. Luckily he or someone else was not injured. He was actually knocked out of his wheelchair, his glasses knocked off, and he said his iphone broken. It was first said that he couldn't find his Iphone. He later changed it to broken. Probably someone stole it. His wheelchair was broken and repaired by a state kollege student's father. This could have gone very bad for Yow and state kollege, but it gave them national attention, and we know that's what they are looking for.

The storming of the court in Raleigh was justified when you consider how much the NC State Wolfpack have been desperate to beat Duke and be treated like equals.ahahahahahhahahahahahahahahhahahahahah ESPN dissing ol Gottfired and State

Fans being happy for beating an unbeaten team that has ruled the ACC for 20 years is bad? I'm glad they rush the court! We need that kind of enthusiasm from our fan base. Go cry in a pillow debbie!

Happy as a lark and proud of the team. Not so proud of the championship celebration and post-game party. Rumor has it, it was choreographed by Yow which makes it even more lame.

  • FAN72 Jan 14, 2013

I think part of the excitement was the revenge element after blowing a 20 point lead last year. It was quite an accomplishment for a team that everyone else in the ACC has called non-relevant for 20 or more years.

Beating Duke is a major accomplishment, you should be proud (if you were a State fan - which apparently you aren't).

  • Hans Jan 14, 2013
    Sports Legend

I don't care if it's justified or not. The part you quoted is exactly the message it sends, and that's why I don't like it. You want to storm the court after winning an ACC or National championship, fine. But doing it regular season sends the message that we're so inferior to Duke that beating them is like winning a championship. Just storming the court was bad enough, but then they went on to party like it was 1999. I've never seen such a gala.

I'd really like to know when the last time a pre-season conference champ stormed the court after a home win. Other than NC State, obviously.
