Not sure NC State will lose to Maryland, but it definitely wouldn't shock me. Especially after the parades and celebrations all week after beating Duke. National TV/Radio interviews have probably taken up more time than gameplanning for UMD. But can you really blame them? I doubt most State fans would even care if they lost to UMD, its more about beating Duke and UNC.

The NCAA is also looking at state kollege and may do sanctions. Apparently a lot of players from dook complained about the excessive sweating by Howell and did not want to get close to him resulting in all his rebopunds. They also think his sweating may have led to Currys injury from the slick floor. This could cause a distraction for the team.

This game is a toss up to me. We haven't seen how this team plays after a big win. First 5 minutes will tell all. A 2 point line is essentially even to me.

A Win tonight (on the road) will go a LONG way in getting the Pack out in front of the league.

And State has played AT Michigan, even if that was a loss.

And UConn in MSG was practically a home game for the Huskies.

It's not as if State has not experienced plenty of road games already.

ignorance meter high on this post...i wanted to beat md as much as unc&duke during those Lowe yrs, especially when they had egregious vasquez...and i feel the same way today

Maryland blew a 12 point lead at home against FSU recently, and I think State has a more talented team than the Seminoles. I expect Maryland to come out strong in this one since they are at home and need a conference win to get back into the race, but the Pack have an edge "talent-wise" at every position IMHO.
