RE: Maryland to sue NC State for damages
BREAKING: Pack Pride to dispatch teams of investigators to examine allegations that Roy Williams' BB Gun was involved in NC State loss/lawsuit.
College Park, MD - Following the unthinkable loss of the Preseason National Champion Wolfpack to the Maryland Terrapins, rumors began to circulate pointing to eyewitness sightings of former NC Governor Jim Martin and ACC Commissioner John D. Swofford in and around the Comcast Center Wednesday night. According to sources, one eyewitness saw the pair entering the Comcast Center with Martin carrying what looked to be a "long, black umbrella". Sources also say that both Martin and Swofford were spotted in a box suite with former Maryland basketball coach Gary Williams. While we cannot confirm these sightings, we can confirm that a source very close to the team, speaking under condition of anonymity, has acknowledged that Scott "Brick" Wood reported a "stinging, searing" pain in his left buttock every time he attempted to take a shot in last night's contest. C.J. "Airball" Leslie reported a similar sensation on shots and attempts to box a Maryland player out. Upon release of this information, rumors immediately began swirling on the internet that North Carolina basketball coach Roy Williams, who has long threatened to shoot any NC State fan on sight, had given his BB gun to Martin in the "deliberate attempt to derail NC State's impending ACC and National championship" (in the words of a Pack Pride member). A Pack Pride spokesman told us that while they have no concrete evidence to support such a claim, the allegations seem entirely plausible to them, and they have dispatched two teams of investigators - one to College Park and one to Chapel Hill- to get to the bottom of things. Attempts to contact NCSU Athletic Director Dr. Debra Yow via email were unsuccessful due to a full inbox.

for a self proclaimed state fan, you sure spend an inordinate amount of time mocking them instead of saying anything supportive. i say it's about a 10-1 ratio.
i'll say it for you...go heels

The funny thing is, most people cheer for a team because:
1. For whatever reason, they feel a kinship with the program;
2. Watching their team brings them joy in some way
Reason #1 explains the long-suffering Red Sox fans, the long-suffering Clippers fans, even the long-suffering State fans. We cheer for our teams because we can't help but feel connected to the program in some way.
Reason #2 is so immediately obvious it requires no explanation.
Now, Hans has gone on record calling State students "slobbering drunks," has called Gugs and Corch worse for daring to disagree with a ref (mind you, Hans wasn't there and has no idea what was said), and has had nothing but withering criticism for any fan who gets excited about anything State related, all while seemingly doing everything in his power to distance himself from the university he claims to be a fan of. So Hans doesn't care much for the teams, the students, the academics, or heaven forbid, fans of the school. And everybody here knows watching the Pack only brings him joy in that it allows him to come here after a LOSS and gloat (don't most fans gloat after a WIN?!?!?!) So if he doesn't care for the program and it doesn't make him happy when they win, why does he hang around here?
The sad answer is, dude has nothing better to do with his day than to pretend to be something he's not, for his own kicks. Really sad, when you think about it...
