Dear UNC: Please bring the same game that you brought against Maryland to the remaining games of your acc schedule.
First: an acknowledgement. You got a win today. It's on the books... done and done... yours to have and to hold, to harken back to and reminisce about, for as long as such desires might serve you. Congratulations.
You did some positive things today. At least a portion of Maryland's turnovers were forced by you. Bullock was legitimately on fire for most of the first half. You matched Maryland well on the boards. Good things. Things to build on.
But let's be honest:
There are games that you win, and there are games that your opponent refuses to allow you to lose. This game, my friends, was an example of the latter. And I feel certain that if Roy Williams is half the coach that many Tarheel fans purport him to be, he knows this to be true.
Oh I know that you'll fuss, and spit, and cry "nay!"... so I'll just leave it at this:
Shoot 35%, and allow your opponent to shoot 40%. Fail to convert turnovers at your present rate. Expect 20+ turnovers from your opponents, and keep doing what you do. And then expect to win.

every team will lose every other ball out of bounds, just like maryland did.
