NC State vs UNC

This one has the potential to be a very high scoring affair if the refs don't get in the way and make it a choppy, stop and go type game. I hope they call it like they have been so far and let them play. If they call less than 25 to 30 total fouls, equally distributed between both teams then this game should be a lot of fun to watch.

I'm not sure that losing 2 games by 3 points total is a positive. I would have rather had at least one of those games been a blow out to wake them up instead of them thinking they can cruse to a victory. In any case, I think at least for this game the Pack will come in and play more disciplined ball. This is a win that I know they will really want so hopefully that will cut down on the sloppy play, and maybe our defense will show up.
As far as Leslie goes, I don't believe he will come in as "CJ" with a lack of effort, the question will be if he decides to take charge or not. I believe that will be the real X factor. I'm thinking State by 9 as long as we can hit free throws down the stretch, however I also wouldn't be surprised if we get blown out. It's just that kind of year so far.

Good points - something else to consider...Roy is bringing a 24 - 1 record in against the 'Pack. (If I heard correctly) That's enough to motivate anybody.

I think the positive is that State has lost 2 of their last 3: those losses are a combined 3 points, and the players are focused on winning, avenging last year's ACCT loss to Carolina, and they'll play a great game. I think the determined State team shows up and will come out of the gates on fire. The only player I see with 'tude is CJ. If Calvin shows up, it will be trouble for Carolina. If CJ shows up, it will be tougher for State. My heart wants Carolina to win, but my head says State gets the "W".

Depends on which 'Pack team shows up. If it's the one that is trying to prove the doubters wrong, the one that plays inspired hoops, and the one that plays as a team for 40 solid minutes, they have a shot.
If it's the finger pointing, 'tude displaying, I know more than my coach team, they go down. IMO, I think they're gonna have to play one of their best games of the season to beat the Heels.
The negative is that State has lost 2 of their last 3.
The positive is that they have not lost at home.
The Heels have a 3 game winning streak.
Should be entertaining.

As I stated earlier on another thread, this is a big game but theres so much more ball left to play after this game! I would trade this win to win the rest! Just another game! Hope UNC wins!

or you could just hit the preview button. I don't care about the spelling, but when someone doesn't have anything useful to say, they can critise your spelling, or grammer

I think both teams need it considering both are still in the running for top ACC seeds with only two losses. The Pack has stumbled and need a confidence-restoring win against another quality opponent. UNC has been playing better but this is the toughest ACC foe they've faced to date. If we can stay out of foul trouble, I think we'll be just fine. I guarantee we'll be fired up in PNC and will play hard, and I think we win 83-73. Go Pack!
