Gottried weighs in on the officiating per his radio show last night:

Gottried weighs in on the officiating per his radio show last night:

... the Pack b-ball coach spoke about the Big 12 refs who are doing a few ACC games, calling it, or not, the way they do in that other Conference, forearm shivers and all, (someone please load the link to last nights Coach's radio show please), thanks!

Its a Conspiracy!

Let the wolfer tears begin!!! Its a conspiracy I say! Those darn refs, commentators and Swofford!

RE: Gottried weighs in on the officiating per his radio show last night:

... at least it wasn't a factor in that beat-down of UNC, yes!

Huge Conspiracy

Of course the Big 12 refs only do the Wolfer games....part of the conspiracy...LMFAO!!! Wolfers get 7 - 8 ACC losses with their best team in 23 years and the ACC talent is down also. What does it take to make them successful?????

And when we beat them at the DD they cannot even claim their superbowl?? LMFAO!

RE: Gottried weighs in on the officiating per his radio show last night:

I think it's a great idea... because in the tourney, you're going to have a mixed bag of refs, so being able to adjust to different crews is crucial. and yes, unfortunately, some leagues are notorious for calling it (or NOT calling it, in this case) loose, and allowing the games to get more physical. the ACC has typically been a finesse league, and our teams tend to suffer in tourney games when they "let 'em go". at any rate, while it's hard to change your game plan according to "refs",... it does give you a taste of what you might run into in March.

Go Pack!

There were questionable calls at the beginning of that game - the difference that most Heels fans accept that all calls aren't going to your way and don't use refs as excuses and Pack fans blame the refs first no matter what.- you may want to rewatched the last 4 min of the State/UVA game - and count how many times Gottfried's friend Bruce Pearl says "nc state got away with one there"

Note to your coach- in the NCAA tournament you get refs from all conferences - you might want to tell your team that they may have to adjust to the refs - since you know, last year was one of those rare years you actually made the tourney

RE: Gottried weighs in on the officiating per his radio show last night:

NIT this year for the wolfers unless something drastic changes. LOLOL! And ranked # 6 at start of season. I wonder what they will do with the trophy they already had purchased?????

RE: Gottried weighs in on the officiating per his radio show last night:

Good grief. Now even Gottfried is whining about the refs. Here's a newsflash: You're going to have bad calls (whether real or perceived) every single game for or against every single team in every single sport. Get over it, stop your whining, and overcome the calls with your play. I'm sick of this LOSER attitude always blaming everyone from Santa Clause to Karl Hess for State's woes.

... .... .... food for thought, no doubt, but the ACC should only use ACC refs in my opinion, establishing some degree of a consistent standard.

I agree!! All I want is consistency, simple as that. Some games they call the second half different than the first. It makes no sense.
