Well looks like a typical season for the wolfers. At the start they had won the National Chumpionship and now they will do as bad or worse than they did last year in the ACC. More talent than any team in the ACC but a lack of coaching to utilize the talent.
Seems like the same thing happened in Football. They went from fans saying Fiesta Bowl down to Nashville Bowl Debacle and a 7-6 season!
Wonder who gets fired this year? Doctor (snicker) Yow or Gott-Fired Already? Someone needs to pay. I mean to win the Chumpionship in October down to middle of ACC and maybe NIT for the Dream Team is almost criminal.....Bawaahhhwaaaaaaaaa!

Back on topic. The Dream Team is a fizzle. Yes for 1 year they have more talent than UNC but yet still may end up with more ACC losses!
Next year = UNC Much > State Kollege!

Wolfers =Dream Team = Best team in 23 years!
UNC = Rebuilding YEAR (not 23 as in Wolfers)
Bahwaaaaaaa....what does it take for them to be successful??? More talent than anyone in ACC a nd keep the same or worse record. Fizzle, fizzle!

State kollege is the most under acheiving basketball team in the good ole USA!!!!
So sad....all they can brag about is beating UNC 1 game on a down year. But after losing 13 straight I guess they are really Proud!

Hard to argue with what Sassie says in the original post. We see the same thing every year. Some just refuse to acknowledge it for some reason. This year the hype was at it's peak for both sports, but especially basketball. And yet, we get the same State pattern: preseason national champs, compile a decent record against cupcakes, and then fizzle out in ACC play.

I'm not sure how this is really relevant to a team that was the preseason ACC and NCAA champs (unless, of course, it is used to show how the lunatic fringe only cares about beating UNC). Personally, being better (and even that's debatable) than an unranked team does not offer me much solace, but I know that's not how you T-shirt wearers roll when it comes to a certain program down the road.
