Assuming Zo is out...

For obvious reasons, I'm sure all of the wolfpack fans hope for a speedy recovery for Lorenzo Brown. Assuming he's out for a couple of games, what does the wolfpack need to do to be successful? Gottfried and Lutz are great coaches and they know more about basketball than anyone that is on these boards, but it's fun to discuss!

I think Lewis is going to have to step up big time. I've not been impressed by his play so far, but I think he has talent and could be pretty darn good. I also think defense should be the priority during practice this week. I think State will still manage to score pretty well. They have a decent chance of winning on Saturday because they are at home, but Leslie and Howard BOTH have to have good games.

While State is obviously better with Brown, they have enough talent to win games without him. I think Brown is the most important player on State's team, but Gott and Lutz will come up with a game plan to play without Brown.

Assuming Lo is out the losing continues as it was going when he played. The pack had just lost to Weak Forest and MD already. Now they just lose by a few more points....

What does that have to do with a top 6 team losing more than last year?. Unranked come Monday

I agree gunn. Teams without a good point guard suffer. It's been years since NCSU has had one and look at the record. I just hope he gets well soon and NCSU can keep it respectable against Miami. If state gets lazy on defense things could get ugly.

They can't beat mediocre teams with him especially on the road so without him they will suffer. I don't think he will be out for long if at all though. Also, lets not put Gott in the "great coach" catagory just yet unless you mean by States standards. Let him actually win SOMETHING first!

They were bragging about third place on our site! Very low expectations.....kind of like dook fb!

I heard ZO walked into class yesterday without crutches. That is a positive!
