Julius Randle had a good time in Raleigh!

RE: Julius Randle had a good time in Raleigh!

The governor has started a special inquiry into violations also. John Edwards is in charge of this. We have serious concerns also that a booster bought him a state college tee shirt from Kmart! As you all know Kmart is headquarters for wolfers gear.

Haters do what they do. Hate.
-
They're going to hate it too when Julius takes them to school.
[Which will be a new experience for UNCheat athletes]

RE: Julius Randle had a good time in Raleigh!

Was there any mention of the recruiting violations? Showing his picture on the video board or having him meet Thompson.

The NCAA is looking into this.

I don't think showing him on the Jumbotron is a violation, in and of itself. They show fans all the time. However, if they displayed his NAME along with his video image, that could be considered "introducing him" which IS a violation (I believe). But if he's sitting behind the bench, and the camera was on the bench, and you could see him there (but with no name displayed), good luck making a case that it is an NCAA violation.

But the NCAA should look into this, by all means. They don't give a rat's behind about academic rules being broken, but heaven forbid someone show a recruit on a TV screen. But hey NCAA, check it out anyway. I don't want State breaking rules, either.

I don't think so. In past years, schools have had recruits sit at midcourt, in the dark, then start playing music and a video that shows that kid driving down the court, shooting a long jumper at the buzzer to win the game. The announcer even says his name in the video, as if he's calling the game on the radio or TV. Cool stuff.
