Oh, trust me, I check out the dance team. Not in a creepy way, of course. I was rolling my eyes at Old Well Drinks.

At home the pack has a chance. When is Brown coming back?

... and the cheerleaders were there, maybe even the famous dance team too, besides there are a few lookers in Charlottesville, just not the refs who were looking anywhere but at the game.

    +1

I do that now, watching the State Dance Team on TV. :)

i think they win since they are playing in raleigh. if they were playing in miami and the female students were wearing shorts and skimpy tops, some coaches may become distracted and lose focus on the game at hand.

  • VT1994Hokie Jan 31, 2013

Miami is the best right now, but they can be beaten. VT was up on them by 12 in the 1st half when guys were shooting decently. We were down by 4 points with 2:12 left.

Fouls and TO'S killed VT. We lost by 9. Three players led the way for Miami. Larkin had 25 and he only was averaging 12 coming in. Kadji had 18 and Jones had 12. Reggie Johnson had 4 pts. Miami blocked 8 shots. VT had 17 turn-overs. One VT player had 3 moving screen violations. How smart is that? One late screen negated a 3 by Erick Green.

... Miami is use to not having a home court advantage, for their so called fans just don't care.

Larry is right about the home crowd and emotion. It may or may not be enough to make a difference, but it will be a factor.

All joking aside I think State without Brown might win this game. Miami is very good but if all the players step up in his place then the home crowd and emotion might carry them to the victory. Stranger things have happened!

Right now, Miami is the team to beat. Hope we are up to the challenge without Lo. (I doubt it)
