CJ Leslie is a joke!
First, understand that I am not a State fan or a State hater. Pack fans, you can turn a blind eye to this if you like, but it's there for everyone to see.
NC State would be better off without him this year and he should have turned pro last year. The bench would have been a bit lighter, but players that are starting to get time because of Brown's injury are showing promise. If you look at the Miami game, the "flashy" one-on-one move where he lost the ball with 3 teammates open with 11:00 remaining and the pack up 7 and the missed dunk with 10:00 remaining that would have put the pack up 8. Not to mention the stupid foul after he missed the 1-and-1 free throw in the final minute. Throw in the incessant whining about calls and not getting back on defense when he feels he's been fouled is inexcusable. He's been acting like a spoiled brat all year and it's going to carry over to the young guys. The talent level for this years team is arguably the best in the conference and they may have the best first 6 in the country...talent wise. When Leslie decided to return for this season, it should have been to return as the team leader, not to be the leader in stats. There's a difference!

well i'm as big of a wolfpack fan as you'll find. i actually agree with some of your points truth. he has some major attitude adjustments that he will need to make in order to compete at the next level. i certainly don't think you can effectively make the argument that we would be better off without him but i see why you might suggest that. you're spot on regarding the talent and the issue with the team needing more sound leadership. however, I think these guys are going to right the ship and peel off some big wins on the home stretch. look for them to be a viable threat in the tourney (both acc & ncaa). Obviously all pack fans are displeased with the recent turn of events however I'm choosing to look at the bright side. I'm not ready to throw in the towel just yet.

There could be an All ACC team of head cases and/or non chemistry players - every team has them - Calvin would certainly be a candidate

The biggest problem with having a player like Leslie is that the other teams learn which buttons to push to get inside his head and they are all too happy to exploit it.
