It would probably help WRAL to shut this Sportsfan down. Less stress for all in my opinion.

I have enjoyed talking to a few on here, but I also see the negatives too. Close it down WRAL. Forget about the hits. Close it.

There are negatives for sure. Personally, when at all possible, I completely eradicate interaction with the type of personalities that the trolls here have. I don't have time for, nor interest in, interfacing with these types of negative and immature personalities.

But it's unnecessary to shutdown the forums to control the trolling. It may take a software update that includes additional functionality, but these forums could use some modernization anyway.

If the forums are shutdown the trolls win, but with some decent forum software they'll be left with nobody that can see their posts but themselves. They'll have to talk to themselves even more than they do now.

As it is now, it's just not worth the headaches just to shoot a little sports breeze. There are far greener pastures out there.

And I'm sure as of now there are FAR fewer "hits" on this site than could be because many legit posters have already left for those greener pastures due to the incessant and extremely excessive trolling.

+1...You have a few on here who know sports & they're easy to spot. As for the rest, feed 'em fishheads.
