Jordan VanderSLOOT deserves more minutes

People can make fun of him for his name and/or lack of academic skill but there's one thing thats clear... Jordan VanderSLOOT deserves more minutes. He has been ignored since stepping foot onto campus in Raleigh 4 years ago.
5.6 MPG, 0.9 PPG, 0.6 RPG. They should call him Staats, all he does is produce numbers...
Jordan is an intimidating presence around the tin, standing 7'1" with a big body, weighing in at 264 lbs. He's also fluent in multiple languages. And who could forget, the author of this absolutely impeccable essay - http://deadspin.com/5586930/americas-dumbest-student+athlete-nominee-jordan-vandenberg-north-carolina-state.
People may make fun of Jordan, but I think he's a quality BIG that needs more minutes in order to NC State to be successful this season. He could be a true All-ACC Defenseive Team type player. I'm rooting for you, Jordan.

Comparing a player on any collegiate basketball team with a murderer is....well I honestly don't have any words for it.
