Outlook on Season

I know we've had these heartbreaking losses, but at the end of the day we are getting better. We showed heart tonight, just like UNC did against us, and we truly are getting better. Lewis is getting valuable experience and we will get Zo back. Let's face it.....all this junk Tarholes are talking......we're just a few baskets away from being 9-1 in the ACC and ranked probably in the top 5. In March, when we play on neutral courts, it's gonna be interesting.....

Yeah, what's your point? I'm not saying could, shoulda, woulda.....I'm simply stating that we're clearly not as bad as our record shows. 4 losses by combined 7 points and even made Duke @ Cameron interesting without our star point guard. I'm just pointing out that there's no need for state fans to panic, because we're getting better. Come March, Lewis will have more experience and when we play on a neutral court.....lookout.

Well, last year looked way worse than this year and we made it to the sweet sixteen, so I think we can make a decent run in the tournament. UNC on the other hand, they're model of offense resembles Duke's.....live by the 3, die by the 3.

Plumlee ate y'all up for 30 tonight. Seemed to me the inside game worked out after the three ball dried up.

True, but hitting all those 3's in the first half got the ball rolling. It was a huge hill to climb, especially with Howell in foul trouble....he was the only one who could stop him. When he stays out of foul trouble, it's amazing how well we do, which is why we did as good as we did in the tournament last year. I hate ACC officials, how many free throws did Duke shoot tonight? Same old, same old.

the schedule is certainly all downhill from here, but they've got to show themselves capable of winning on the road.

Much the same could be said about JMM getting two "ghost" fouls in the first 2 minutes of UNC vs state college. Take JMM out of the mix, it was a completely different game in the first half in Rawlee. JMM in the game during the second half cut the state lead WAY down, had the woofies gnawing on their towels as we cut it down to 6 at one point. I'm looking forward to UNC REVENGE in the DEM, coming very very very soon.
