RE: How will State finish?
We have 8 very winnable games left... but in conference ball I think winning 6 of those 8 is more reasonable. UNC and FSU at home seem our toughest remaining... but I see no obvious reason to
expect either to be a loss.
I think we will be well positioned for the acc tournament. The neutral site should ultimately play to our advantage IMO.
We still have a shot at a good seeding in the ncaas if we play it out strong.
Just have to wait and see.... The "top" of the rankings has proven a dangerous place to be this year.... no team seems destined to rule, and teams have dropped out and come back in with some frequency. In other words, part of where we will be depends on what everyone else does.... and this is proving to be a rather unusually unpredictable year in that respect, IMO.
RE: How will State finish?
Think we'll start seeing good things from State rest of the season.
RE: How will State finish?
It starts today. I look at Clemson as a big turning point. Almost a must win situation.
RE: How will State finish?
They'll beat Clemson unless they just fall apart. I think they are gonna hit the floor with intensity. Hope Wood's okay and didn't have post-game probs from that fall he took. State needs all its shooters.

The best thing that could happen to us is for Wood to be out of the line up and play Warren and Vany more
RE: How will State finish?
Mostly agree with others in this surprisingly on-topic thread. As I've been saying for weeks, I think State, Carolina, and Virginia will be battling for ACC third place with roughly 11-7 records. 12-6 is possible for any of the three, unfortunately 10-8 is too.
The ACC Tourney becomes important, need at least a win or two there if 11-7 or 10-8.
An 11-7 ACC probably gets State an NCAA 6-8 seed, UNC a 7-9, UVA maybe nothing. A 10-8 finish pushes State and Carolina into danger, too.

State has a big advantage schedule-wise. I can't see UNC winning in Miami, and I can't see them beating Duke. The games against State and Virginia are going to be huge for Carolina.

Carolina has the toughest Future SoS in the ACC. I also see @Duke and @Miami as likely losses. That would mean only losing two other games. Duke in CH and @Maryland are tossups; another three games, UNC a slight favorite (2:1). Not much room for error for any of those three teams.

I was not far off in my predictions 4-7 weeks ago. A bumpy ride for all of us.
