Once again, the OP is not very smart! This should have been posted on the UNC Forum. State fans do not care about this, or so they say!

I think someone's computer needs a breathalyzer lockout device.

But no, Roy's not out of timeouts,
but why call them when they'll just prolong the game?

Why would he want to suffer through beatdowns any longer than he has too?

What would he say during a timeout?

"Don't suck so bad!!"?
"Try playing better than my 90 year old Grandmother!!"?
"You DO know that you're allowed to score.. right?"?

I suppose he could give a eulogy for the team..
but that's usually best saved for private in the locker room.

I dont harp on Roy`s use of timeouts because it`s been more than proven they do not
stop a teams hot shooting, or your teams lack of shooting.

Heh. I have read all on this one thus far. Smart coaches will call a time out when the opposing team is making a huge rally in scoring 14+ points like Miami did today. The crowd is loud and the team is totally charged up. Call a time out. Settle the troops. Some of you guys mean well in what you write. No experience in playing nor coaching.

Heh. I have read all on this one thus far. Smart coaches will call a time out when the opposing team is making a huge rally in scoring 14+ points like Miami did today. The crowd is loud and the team is totally charged up. Call a time out. Settle the troops. Some of you guys mean well in what you write. No experience in playing nor coaching.

What ever you say oh great one, Tell me sir, how did duke do with coach K calling his timeouts?, didnt slow miami`s freight train down one single bit.

Well. Duke was blown out against Miami. Coach K called time outs when they started to run away from them. He called his usage in time outs in the 1st half. He used all of them in the 2nd half too. Use them or lose them. Miami is a Final Four. I see Duke and Miami in the ACC Finals. How's that?

Heh. I was trying to bow out gracifully. Let it go when I state this. Don't come back with your simple mess. I stated the facts from the many box scores. You can't get in front of me with playing, coaching, and leading high school teams when I was coaching. I know darn well you haven't been where I have been. I have read you for a long time on here. Fire on back now RDI. It's still early.

You always come around when I write anything about UNC. Heck. I read all of the fans on here. Long live the greatest coach in the ACC. Dean Smith. Hey. RDI. You need to lossen up on me on here. I don't quote you on here, and I know where you are coming from. Let it go.
