You're contradicting yourself. On one hand, you say that State had all these crazy expectations of doing wonderful things, then on the other hand you say that we act like we're satisfied because we have no expectations......which is it?

Speaking of facts....it all boils down to March. We have been in all of these tough losses with a chance to win. Who has a better chance in March- A team who has found themselves down 20-30 points MULTIPLE times this year or a team who has lost games that they just had some bad breaks in, and could have easily won, but nevertheless they were competitive in them. BTW, the second team in that example also beat the first team.

No problem. State's in a slump. All that really matters is March. Still kicked the snot out of UNC. And hey, I didn't pick State to finish at the top, the coaches did, one of which was not Gott.

the conference seeding is based on conf record, with various tie-breakers in place....the first tie-breaker is head-to-head, so when duke stomps ewenc on wed, the Pack will move up to the 4th seed, while ewenc will drop to the 5th seed...thats just the way it is for the failship...the clincher will come in a couple weeks when State takes the broom to the hill
