the conference seeding is based on conf record, with various tie-breakers in place....the first tie-breaker is head-to-head, so when duke stomps ewenc on wed, the Pack will move up to the 4th seed, while ewenc will drop to the 5th seed...thats just the way it is for the failship...the clincher will come in a couple weeks when State takes the broom to the hill

No problem. State's in a slump. All that really matters is March. Still kicked the snot out of UNC. And hey, I didn't pick State to finish at the top, the coaches did, one of which was not Gott.

If dook ekes out another lucky win against The Flagship on Wednesday, The Flagship will have a record of 6-5 in the conference.

    Just like state college.
You ain't movin' ahead of nobody just yet, Sundress.

when duke spanks you like so many others have(why is it always a blowout?), State will move back ahead of you and yours

    @ Ashamedmyowner,

You're contradicting yourself. On one hand, you say that State had all these crazy expectations of doing wonderful things, then on the other hand you say that we act like we're satisfied because we have no expectations......which is it?

Speaking of facts....it all boils down to March. We have been in all of these tough losses with a chance to win. Who has a better chance in March- A team who has found themselves down 20-30 points MULTIPLE times this year or a team who has lost games that they just had some bad breaks in, and could have easily won, but nevertheless they were competitive in them. BTW, the second team in that example also beat the first team.

I just thought about this and I want to say I am sorry Lawn Boy! To think that after 23 years of state kollege being terrible and then having your best team and the only thing you can brag about is winning 1 game after 13 straight losses to UNC and that you have not been Embarassed in a loss this year.
That coupled with the humiliation of being a yard maintenance man or (grass cutter) like a juvenile must also be humiliating!!!
I really am sorry for the life you have to lead dude! It must be AWFUL!!! I will keep you in my thoughts man and hope things get better for you and the wolfers!

you still didn't tell me what it feels like boo hoo tool. how many times am I going to have to ask before you understand? the floor is yours. tell me what getting blown out multiple times by inferior teams feels like. hahaha get a life tool bag

    Haw,haw,haw.....
    1) you are full of it
    2) If anyone is embarassed it is the wolfers having 3 straight losses and 5th place ACC when picked to win the ACC
    3) Ranked # 6 and all wolfers calling Natty and now team is unranked
    4) UNC will kick their ACE in DD and then you cannot even claim your super bowl
    5) Fans like you act like it is a good season for the pack despite the #1-4 listed above.....THAT SPEAKS VOLUMES ABOUT THE STATE FANBASE!!!!!!!!
6)You and all wolfers should be embarassed about 1-5 above and even more so as you will have had another terrible RECORD (close does not count) for another year to add to your 23 years of misery

The fact that you think you even have a single thing to be proud of or hold over us other than 1 win is just so much KRAP! All I can say is BAWWWWAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!! LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL = YOU EMBARASS YOUR SCHOOL!

the facts are this boo hoo tool. ncsu has been embarrased a whopping 0 times this year. you've been embarrased multiple times (ncsu, miami, butler, indiana, texas, the list goes on and on boo hoo tool) and you haven't even played duke yet. it only gets worse from here. we've been in every game we've played unlike your garbage team. losing is losing indeed. however i'd rather have a chance to win when my team runs out of the locker room to start the second half instead of already down 20+ and everybody in the area already knowing its over. you should be able to tell me how that feels boo hoo tool. go ahead. what's it feel like?

Ha,ha,ha....last time I heard losing by 1 point was losing!
How many times in the last 23 years has the wolfer been in the Sweet 16 or higher?

How many times have they been close? ROFLMWAO!!!! LOLOLOL.

Lawn Boys statement epitomizes the wolfers expectations.....well we were close so that is all right for us! Haw,haw,haw....what a joke!

the wolfpack and the fans like Lawn Boy are just LOSERS with a capital L!!! No mistaking that.....But they ALMOST wern't!!!! LOLOLOLOLOL

LMFAO......What do you say about how those terrible Tar Heels are ranked higher than the wonderful Dream Team???? How do you rationalize that???? And you only play the # 1 ACC team once and that was at home and you lost. Sooooo sorrry you girls are blowing the one chance in 23 years to perform adequately......LMFAO....baaawwwaaaaaa!

Me thinks NO ONE in the ACC has beaten Miami and state kollege has not even played them in Miami. That surely would have added another loss to an already growing number for the state kollege!

    Bwwwaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!! Haw,haw,haw......LOLOLOLOLOL
