Is Gottftied on crack?

I'm extremely proud of our team because we didn't play very well early in the game. 

Must win game and the team comes out with zero urgency and you're PROUD that? SMH. What kind of a lunatic could be proud of the effort State showed yesterday? All Clemson has to do is hit a free-throw, and you're looking at another loss, coach.

Did you read the entire press interview or do you like taking things out of context? He said that they played bad in the first half, but glad they didn't hang their heads and they gave themselves a shot at winning, which they did. He didn't say they played well yesterday. He also didn't say they would win the national championship or the ACC. He also hasn't said they're a great team. Bottom line is, they're improving because Gottfried is the coach.

Being a coach in Raleigh requires two things

1. you must be delusional
2. you must know what to say to the delusional fans.

TOB kept his job because he did both well....he threw in hatred for Carolina any chance he could..Gott Fired is not there yet but when his job is on the line his Carolina hatred will come out

Anyone that is proud of the way this team played yesterday is nuts, and I've seen no improvement in the way this team plays as the season has progressed. They might be getting worse.

Being a coach at UNC-CHeat requires 2 things

1. You must realize that 90% percent of your fans can not point out Chapel Hill on a map.

2. The athletes under your supervision do not have to attend class.
