Ouch Kentucky's Noel out for season torn ACL

Ouch Kentucky's Noel out for season torn ACL

Bad collision with the goal, looked nasty. Thoughts on his draft prognosis now?

RE: Ouch Kentucky's Noel out for season torn ACL

He'll still go in the 1st round

RE: Ouch Kentucky's Noel out for season torn ACL

This whole age thing is ridiculous....let them go pro and make the ones who start school stay two or three years minimum

RE: Ouch Kentucky's Noel out for season torn ACL

I'm surely not a K'Tucky fan, but I hate to see anyone from any team go down with an ACL. Time is limited after the 1st one sometimes.

Colin Herd had that very conversation with Jay Bilas this morning. Bilas made a good point. He said that everyone thinks college is great for kids to go to. Then, why do they allow then to turn pro so soon after HS? I agree with the NFL. Must stay in college 3 years, period.

I don't agree with that..let them go pro or to europe - if they come to school 2 years.

It's one year now because to my knowledge nobody has challenged it in court on anti trust grounds. The NBA has no compelling argument to make for keeping high school graduates from gong straight to the NBA.

It's in the NBA's cba. So it's agreed upon by owners and players each time a new one is negotiated and restructured. The most recent was prior to last season I think, so it's not gonna change anytime soon (10 years?). NCAA has nothing to do with it.

Looked A LOT worse than a torn ACL. The picture shows him leaning against the goal and his leg from the knee down is going left at about a 45 degree angle. Hard to look at. Had to have been dislocated as well.

RE: Ouch Kentucky's Noel out for season torn ACL

It would have been a shame for Lebron to have been forced to spend one day in college. He was probably ready to be in a rotation for any NBA team before he finished his Junior year of high school.

Had he gone to dook, kiwi would've convinced him he wasn't quite ready.
