2013 Football schedule

RE: 2013 Football schedule

What are you sipping on tonight?
- Posted by Rameses Unchained
Hello Smitty. You didn't think that I would catch this did you? Heh. I have had a sinus problem this week. Am getting over it now; I think. My drink is one beer, 1 oz of scotch, 21 shrimp, and a tad of cough medicine. What's your excuse?

Glad to see you back again. Heck man. I haven't kept up with your postings of late. It's all good Smitty. VT will surprise your school this 2013, and the many non-grads too. The non grads write more than most graduates 10 times over. That's all right too. I know that I'm out numbered for sure. I don't care. I know my school. Blood, sweat, and tears. I read how the grads write on here. I know the deal. Do you?

Should have been "one bourbon, one scotch, and one beer" (Ref: George Thorogood)

I'm just having some fun with you, you seem a bit on the "offensive" tonight. Don't write my Heels off. Ebron and Davis may end up the top receiving tandem in the country, Renner is a Senior and Seniors always have an edge, and Romar Morris is going to use that 4.35 speed with about 20 more lbs. to be a real force. UNC had 82 players from last year returning, that were Freshman, RedShirt Freshman, or Sophomores. So don't pop that Coastal Division bottle of Jack in the Black just yet, I'm thinking the Tar Heels will be maturing into quite a team. Defense always gets better with age and UNC was so young last year that they can't help but get better, and stronger so they can play the bump and run and let the RamBlitzses loose on opposing QBs.

I read you Smitty. "I'm just having fun with you." Nah. Don't even come around with that BS. FYI. I have defended you on here way back when you were loads of various names on here. It doesn't matter. I read you tonight. That's enough for me.

You have had my back, and I yours. As always, your appreciation has always been...appreciated.

RE: 2013 Football schedule

To be clear, Dr. Punt (how ironic)...

winning the coastal division championship (with a 1st year coaching staff/system and a program in turmoil) is the real source of celebration (and we have rings and roadsigns to prove it).

Too bad the rings and road signs didn't have any impact on your recruiting. ROFL!!!!! We're #41!!!!

UH...check the star rating. Five 4-star recruits even with scholly restrictions. We were up there with the #11 team. Fedora has an excellent recruiting class. Recruited and signed Trubisky, "Mr. Football" in Ohio. For your reading pleasure...

Suck it.

I'm not sure I want to know where you got your experience on Donkey privates but needless to say "you go girl". Bet you love your job as a Breeding Technician at the ranch, maybe a bit too much.

The #11 comment was about a week before signing day. We slipped when the kid went to Clemson but I'll take what we gott since with the NCAA mess, I'm quite impressed with what Fedora was able to do.

RE: 2013 Football schedule

I have read all of these from State and UNC on here a few minutes ago. VT was close to Clemson, and FSU in recruting this 2013. UNC and State are way on down the line. The Hokies will rise up with a new OC to help Thomas. We will WIN the Division this year. Mark it down. I don't care what recruits are in front of VT. State doesn't have a QB. UNC has given all DC's time to challenge the up-tempo offense, and it will show this year. Bud Foster will dial it up this year.

I forgot to ask you Smitty; how many have you had tonight? I didn't ask anyone except YOU either. I'm sure. You can't get in front on me on here. Lossen up and people will like you more. Don't come on here and ask this question. I know your people. They always like to fire down on. Why ask if I had a drink? I read you on this one Smitty. Lossen up, man. You have had more than I have had this entire week; tonight. I doubt that you're a UNC graduate. I base this on how you write on here. You are a BS'er on WRAL Sportsfan in my humble opinion. So. Fire on back when you can.

I have had nothing but fat free milk tonight. Now riddle me this, how would, or should, a UNC graduate write?
- Posted by Rameses Unchained
You started this with the question about what I have been drinking tonight. None of your darn business, boy. You didn't need to pose this question did you? Stay with your good ol boys and you'll be just fine on here. Hey Rameses, Smitty, and all of the rest. Don't write stuff if you think some will look the other way, or not respond. I'll fire back and down on you and any others. Now. I can get along with you hence forward if you will simply listen to what I have written. I have never tried to fire down on you on here. Remember. You are always trying to get a one-up-manship on people on here too. Hey. I even read the dismal elementary students on here.

That's good. I've never tried to clip you on here at any time. And. I don't forget much on here either. I take notes most times. I will remember this exchange too. I hope my son's team will win.

The only person I know of who has experience with donkeys would be your father. How do I know? You wouldn't be here otherwise.

RE: 2013 Football schedule

I have no problem with a first-year coach getting a softball schedule. It will help him build momentum.

Aren't you happy about this, you big ole State fan you!

Usually it's the fans of other teams that make up demeaning names for your coach.

That's why we know Hans is NOT a State fan. He's stopped trying to hide it.

RE: 2013 Football schedule

Ga.Tech was the 2012 ACC Coastal Division Football Champion.
Really, there is no division champ. A team wins a division in order to play for the CONFERENCE Champioship.

Just as there is no regular season basketball champ.

Tournament as championship

The ACC is unique in the fact that it is the only Division I college basketball conference that does not recognize a regular season title. This is because of the fact that in the days where only one school made the NCAA tournament per league, the ACC representative was determined by the conference tournament, rather than the regular season as other leagues did. Therefore, the league eliminated the regular season title in 1961 and has chosen to solely recognize the winner of the ACC tournament as the league champion ever since. Fans and media do sometimes claim a regular-season title for the team that finishes first, but these titles are unofficial and carry no reward other than the top seed in the ACC tournament.

"Notably, all champions after 1961 are considered unofficial by the conference, as the ACC elected to eliminate the regular season title following that season. Since then, the conference's bylaws have stated the sole champion is the winner of the ACC Tournament, a rule that remains in place to this day. The conference's automatic NCAA berth is reserved for the winner of the ACC Tournament at the end of the season."

There was an acc football tournament? Dooooooh? Fail
