This game is more important to North Carolina in terms of the postseason, but is that enough of a motivating edge to get the Heels past NC State? I have a hard time believing so.
NC State is coming off an impressive win against Florida State and it is not so much the score alone that reflects that. Rodney Purvis came off the bench and provided energy. TJ Warren blew by his career highs and finished with 31 points and 13 rebounds, CJ Leslie had a double-double and Lorenzo Brown doled out nine assists. If not for the 14 turnovers, the Pack could have put up 110. Point being: they are finding their roles.
UNC is looking a 10-seed in the eyes right now and know they need to keep winning. James Michael McAdoo has done a bit of everything for the Heels this season, but has just one double-digit scoring performance in the last four games and that came against a less-than-stellar Georgia Tech team Tuesday. UNC is third in the nation in assists per game and fifth in rebounds per game but who is going to be the guy on a given night is anybody’s guess.
Even in the Dean Dome, where the Wolfpack are just 5-21 all-time, the matchup edge has to go to NC State Saturday.

^^^^This guy's got it right - reality is a beautiful thing. The talent mismatch between these teams is enormous. The only thing I would have said differently is specified that
UNC is looking like a 10-seed in the NIT right now.

Vegas knows how many UNC bandwagoners there are out there, and that they are so utterly ignorant that they actually believe these teams are evenly-matched, and that playing at the Dean Dome "means something." These guys are in the business of baiting people into making bad bets - it's how they make money.
If anyone out there is wagering on this game, go with the smart money and bet on the Pack. Don't be like this D-bag below and lose your money betting with the bandwagon:

That must be when the "other festivities" at that Rainbow Ram's Club party (the one with Lux, Ramses, chapelthrill, etc.) are getting started. Ugh... I don't mean to be a homophobe, but I think I should go get an HIV test after just reading their stuff. Each one of those guys has full-blown AIDS, guaranteed.
