Did Gottfired just give up with 3 min left?

Seems like their team didn't even try - I was expecting Mac to get fouled every time he got the ball - State was gassed

No fouling...just like he did give up. I wondered the same thing. But of course he is a wonderful coach...baaaawwaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!! ROFL!!!

I said the same thing to my brother in law watching the game with me, with 3 mins left he said it was over, i said not if they start fouling and putting us on the line where we stink this year. it could be interesting, but never happened.

Gott-fired is definitely not the coach wolfpack fans want to play him up to be. If he had not had the lucky win last year over GT he would be as bad as Sidney Lowe...only hopefully he is not a criminal...yet..LOLOLOLOL

Only the Perv and Lewis return and the Perv is just like Calvin. He has a terrible atitude and is crying now about his PT getting cut! Pitiful team coming next year for the Wolfers.....maybe as bad as this team has turned out to be!

I'm with you guys, same here. Maybe the reality set in that his team could not make it back from the deficit.

I'm with you guys, same here. Maybe the reality set in that his team could not make it back from the deficit.

the reality is unc defended home court, and tied the season series....rubber game in the acc tourney, hopefully

Roy outcoached Gott by a mile today...

Pulling the starters, putting in a lineup that I frankly wondered who could score the ball (I think Marcus was the number one option at the time...hes usually fourth or so), all the while scolding and molding the starters to come back in and take over the game.

Starters return after having given up a ten point lead to be down four...we went on a 25-8 run with a 18-2 spurt to close the game.

Had that little stunt Roy pulled backfired...he would be facing serious criticism...but as it is...brilliant coaching move that wins him the award for the day over Gott.
