Does State make the NCAAT?

Let's assume State continues their recent level of play. I see no reason to expect it to change, unless they are so demoralized after Saturday's loss that they tank the rest of the season. So, let's say they split the remaining 4 games. They'll be 21-10. Does the ACCT then become crucial for State to make the Dance? Does a 21-11 State team get in?

23-8 - gets them a 5 or 6 seed with a good ACCT showing or 7 - 8 with a bad ACCT showing

22-9 - gets them a 6 or 7 seed with a good ACCT showing or 8 - 9 with a bad ACCT showing

21 - 10 gets them a 9 - 11 seed with a good ACT showing, but 13 or 14 with a bad showing.

20 - 11 puts them in a scary situation and they would have to make it to the ACCT Championship

19 - 12 - no way unless they win the ACCT

Just my opinion. I'm not on the selection committee...

I think you about nailed it, they are playing 4 of the worst teams to end their season, so their chances for quality wins are only available in the ACCT. However they have 4 chances for BAD loses. March Madness!

State is in. The only way State is on the bubble is if we lose the rest of our games. Have you looked at our schedule? That ain't happenin'.

It is doubtful that State WON'T make the NCAAT.

Check the NCAAT projection sites if you misunderstood me on that.

And check our remaining schedule.

BC, at GT, Wake, at FSU

3-4 likely wins in that list.

NCAAT is not an issue for State.

Carolina, on the other hand, could easily lose 3 of their last 4.

at Clemson, FSU, at Maryland, Duke

So the bigger question is, if Carolina loses 3 of 4, are THEY definitely in? Is NC State enough of a quality win to get them in?
