At least one league is willing to admit when it make a mistake, would the acc ever do this

Before the haters start in I'm not referring to any game in particular or even an NCSU game. I'm talking about any ACC game. No, I'm not whining just asking a hypothetical question.

I don't think there are many conferences that would take that action. Ultimately calls are missed, unless the Big12 is going to reverse the call and give the win to ISU then I don't see any good in calling out a ref. There have been plenty of missed calls in football and basketball for years and many that have received the same type of attention that this one has - has it stopped the questionable calls ? I don't think so.

Referees have always been criticized, it won't end. ESPN quotes an Iowa golfer's tweet as some kind of rationalization that the Big 12 was right. People just need to remember back to the first few weeks of replacement refs in the NFL to realize how bad it really can be.
