But the bills are paying $100-mill to Mary-O "Take A Few weeks Off" Williams.

So smart in fact, that he found a way to guide the Rams to a 10-38 record before he was fired. The Rams clearly had a genius on their hands.

Mary-O is getting $100 million for 6 years.

Quinn, of Flagship U. fame, is getting about 9-and-a-half million for 5.

Looks like the Rams have a MUCH smarter GM on their hands, for what they are getting in return.

Mario was upstaged, in this game, by another Wolfpacker by the name of Manny Lawson to the tune of 14 tackles, 11 solo, one tackle for loss....Mario will be back, and btw, he is still #2 in sacks in the league, ahead of a certain Quinn fella...nyuk, nyuk, nyuk

Looks like Mary-O took another vacation day as his team got curbstomped again.

Some GM in Buffalo must be getting some ACE handed to him pretty good over this pickup. ohBoy.

    Peppers best year 14.5 sacks...has 111.5 total.

    Mary-o best year = 14 sacks...has 68 total.

Back on topic (fatmidgegolfers tend to deflect).

Is Mary-o letting his pride come before his senses (or is it cents)???

Williams also paid $108,000 in living expenses with an American Express card and brought her $230,000 in luxury items. Interesting fact, the suit does not ask for a return of those items or reimbursement of the credit card charges, just the ring.

I don't understand this thread...at all. Who cares what, or, if, ANYTHING is wrong with Mario? Nothing he does or doesn't do affects any of our lives anyway. Same with all the ex ACC athletes, wherever they are.

Mario has enough $$$ that I'm pretty sure he's not concerned about some sports blog discussing his well-being. Threads like this (and they are on EVERY forum) are why these blogs are so asinine.

MOST of us need to get a life. :)

One day, in the not so distant future, the game will be gone for Mary-o.

His (well-paid) psychologist is working diligently to ensure the game does not define Mary-o the man.

(both are also working hard to minimize the pain of being dumped)

Progress on inner-peace can be difficult and slow.

Let's give Mary-o some credit for the strides he's made in the past 5-years.

Playing the role of a Peace Officer should help his confidence...regardless of whether he is a real one or not (hopefully, it won't get him arrested).

This young man should not be defined by what he does or does not do when playing a mere game. Let us step beyond silly ties to one college or another and support Mary-o's inner-peace process and pray that his battle with being dumped by his fiancee remains manageable. 5 years of self-admitted personal struggles and obsessive thoughts of self-harm and revenge are nothing to make light of.

By the way, anyone have an update on Mario's law enforcement degree controversy...the one that led to the shutdown of the program in Texas?

Agreed. Amazing Mario was able to set a franchise record despite the Panthers having game planned around him. Four and a half sacks in a single game is crazy.

Any update on that degree that Mary-o's purchased for himself in Texas?

Williams completed the six-month course in only four months. Assuming 17 weeks and five work days per week, that would require an average of 7.76 hours per day, Monday through Friday, in order to get the full 660 hours in four months.
