A new Buffalo record in sacks by one player in one game was set today.

This guy just seems to show up and play when he feels like it.

Gotta be some nervous folks in that front office, wondering which games he'll play in, and which ones he'll take off?

    Pathetic.

    Mario's stats thru 2 games- 8 tackles, 4 1/2 sacks

His beech's (lil pepp) stats- 2 tackles, ZERO sacks

    Oh my, facts are grand!

kturd forgot to apply the 'Panther Exchange Rate'...

Maria's totals yesterday equate to more like '1'.

Panther Exchange Rate doesn't exist. Is Kato trying to minimize the embarassment this thread has created for the op? :)

  • kato_karma2.1 Sep 16, 2013

Negative, old codger -- when thread was created, the concern was Maria's head-scratching off-field actions.

That said, if we apply the 'Maria Exchange Rate'...

former Tar Heel Robert Quinn's return-on-investment MUCH MUCH MUCH GREATER THAN Maria's.

    (Quinn's 2 game totals = 4 sacks, 7 tackles)

Still less than Super Mario's totals. LOL. Sorry stalkerkato. You're going to have to eat your crow on this one.

    Sorry kturd...

a couple of games early in the season fails to swing the scales anywhere close to Maria's pay being worth the investment. Keep your crow in your digestive tract.

    Back on topic...

something has definitely been wrong with Mario -- let's hope he has finally found peace (and a good psychologist).

Q: Was that your favorite game since you've been here?

A: Yeah. The W is the most important thing; just the whole team and the mentality, especially mine. I don't think I've felt that way in the last five years, so that's great. I finally feel like I'm at peace just as a person.

Q: You felt that way mentally as opposed to physically?

A: It's the whole mentality. I mean even physically. I feel great. Everyone's talking about this and that but I know the deal. I know how I feel. I know my mental state. I'm definitely the best mentally, the best feeling of peace, just taking care of business and going out and playing hard.

Q: Why did you not have peace before? There's no mistaking that it hasn't been an easy time for you since you got here.

A: Everything. Football is football but you have a personal life and a life in general.

    Nice deflection away from #SuperMario.

You also forget why your daddy asked for the information. Your daddy (me) did not ever want to meet you. You're creepy and it probably carries over to the real world. I just wanted to post your information on a board of known internet troublemakers so they could return the bad karma you've racked up by stalking others on these boards.

    Back on topic.

Any update on that degree that Mary-o's purchased for himself in Texas?

Williams completed the six-month course in only four months. Assuming 17 weeks and five work days per week, that would require an average of 7.76 hours per day, Monday through Friday, in order to get the full 660 hours in four months.

    Something is wrong.

Do you think that the ring thing is really what has been bothering Mary-o? He alluded that the past 5 years have not been peaceful, so something else must have been eating at him.

The topic is Super Mario. We're talking about how he dropped 4.5 sacks yesterday. Better than any kerlina player in the NFL yesterday. How 'bout that Julius "2 tackles through 2 games" Peppers? You seem to like ROI a lot. What's the ROI on him? LOL

Agreed. Amazing Mario was able to set a franchise record despite the Panthers having game planned around him. Four and a half sacks in a single game is crazy.

It's also pretty cool that State has 2 alums in the top 10 for QB Passer Rating.

LOL..not even kayto fave Dee Hardison managed 4.5 sacks while playing for the bills...no one in bills history, and he had at least one other sack that he lost out on b/c the lineman holding him kept him from being able to wrap up....just a flat-out debacle, this thread is....lmao

This young man should not be defined by what he does or does not do when playing a mere game. Let us step beyond silly ties to one college or another and support Mary-o's inner-peace process and pray that his battle with being dumped by his fiancee remains manageable. 5 years of self-admitted personal struggles and obsessive thoughts of self-harm and revenge are nothing to make light of.

By the way, anyone have an update on Mario's law enforcement degree controversy...the one that led to the shutdown of the program in Texas?

Progress on inner-peace can be difficult and slow.

Let's give Mary-o some credit for the strides he's made in the past 5-years.

Playing the role of a Peace Officer should help his confidence...regardless of whether he is a real one or not (hopefully, it won't get him arrested).

One day, in the not so distant future, the game will be gone for Mary-o.

His (well-paid) psychologist is working diligently to ensure the game does not define Mary-o the man.

(both are also working hard to minimize the pain of being dumped)

I don't understand this thread...at all. Who cares what, or, if, ANYTHING is wrong with Mario? Nothing he does or doesn't do affects any of our lives anyway. Same with all the ex ACC athletes, wherever they are.

Mario has enough $$$ that I'm pretty sure he's not concerned about some sports blog discussing his well-being. Threads like this (and they are on EVERY forum) are why these blogs are so asinine.
