Football Outsiders ranked the top 43 QBs in the NFL (minimum of 83 passes)

    3. Philip Rivers
    9. Russell Wilson
    15. Mike Glennon

Three of the top 15 NFL QBs? I'll take it.

    http://www.footballoutsiders.com/stats/qb

Oh, and for the Tar Wheels fans trolling through, they had an "other" category for QBs who have thrown between 10-82 passes. You can find TJ Yates towards the bottom (well - second to last, to be more specific).

    LOL

Did a current wolpfack QB win last Saturday? How 'bout the Saturday before...or the Saturday before...or the Saturday before...or the Saturday before...or the Saturday before?

Any chance a current wolpfack QB will win this Saturday?

[hint: the answer to all 7 questions is the same]

We know you'd trot out the stats of your school's QB's in the NFL if they were tearing it up. It's your MO. Unfortunately you don't have any starters. Kerliner NEVER has. LOL.

But I guess I'd be a little upset too if my neighbors down the road had THREE starting QBs in the NFL and my team had never produced ONE. LOLOLOLOL

Come back and join the convo when you have an NFL QB who at least dresses out.

In case you missed it, here's TJ "Pick 6" Yates with his first throw of the 2013 season.

    http://www.nfl.com/videos/nfl-cant-miss-plays/0ap2000000261370/WK-6-Can-t-Miss-Play-Houston-we-have-a-pick-six-problem

It would also be a good time to mention that TJ Yates has more pick sixes in his 10 seconds of PT than all THREE of State's NFL QBs have this year COMBINED. Ouch.

Now why on earth would a state college fan want to focus attention on "non-basketball" here at the start of basketball season?

We sure saw a LOT of "non-basketball" from state college this week against N.C. Central University lolloollolol. DON'T SEE THAT CHANGIN'!! lolol

Russell Wilson had a bye this week but Mike Glennon and Philip Rivers continued to put up impressive numbers. Rivers threw for nearly 400 yards and 3 TDs against the best defense in the NFL in the Chiefs.

    Rivers - 27/39 for 392 yds, 3 TDs, 0 INTs, and a QB Rating of 127.3
    Glennon - 14/21 for 247 yds, 2 TDs, 0 INTs, and a QB Rating of 138.4

Combined - 41/60 for 639 yds, 5 TDs, 0 INTs, and an avg QB Rating of 132.85

The final standings for QB Passer Rating through Week 12 and NC State has 3 of the top 9 in the league. Crazy to think that with over two thirds of the season already played, 3 of the league's top 9 QBs all came from NC State.

    http://espn.go.com/nfl/statistics/player/_/stat/passing/sort/quarterbackRating

Oh, and if you were looking for TJ Yates on that list - he didn't qualify. He actually hasn't been active for the Texans in over a month. Ouch.

Link? I think it's great you have 2 QBs that are listed as from NCSU and are playing well, makes you wonder why you girlz have not played for a conference championship...

...admittedly, I never saw Glennon doing this well but he fell into a dream spot...a coach and QB going through a divorce and he was the new girl there to pick up the pieces and he is playing very well, however, give the NFL defensive guys time and they will scheme some of that effectiveness out...for example, look at Kapernick this year.

Why would we look for TJ when he is not playing? Silly Wolfies thinking that players make a list of stats when they don't play...
Sorry Dr. Pwnd but the NFL lists RW as a Wiscy grad...
    http://www.nfl.com/player/russellwilson/2532975/profile
Hilarious you girlz let TOB kick him to the curb and now want to claim him, too bad you did not show RW this much love before he got tossed...wonder if some of you Wolfies would have shown this much love IF he would have been a bust...

Now on TJ, you seem to be a Raging on him, why? I don't know of any Tar Heel on here that prognosticated him as a starter, and I know I didn't. Said all along hope he can grab a back-up roll, get a good check for a few years, and then hit the coaching ranks.

Why would Carolina fans hate this? They have great individual numbers but have no leadership qualities. They never won any championships in college and no major bowls..........except for RW.........after he transfered of course to a quality school. I certainly can't blame you for being proud..........considering the athletic department at State College continues sink further and further!

    exactly.

that's something that YOU and your pansy fans will have to tell us, lil larr... we're only presented with the REALITY (read through this thread for example) that pastel pansy nation is saturated in envy for NCSU's success at producing STARTING NFL QBs... and, well.. given the FACT that unc has only produced ONE, and he ONLY started AFTER an injury to the #1 guy... it's rather understandable.

    +1

Rivers has been surrounded by so much HOF talent and has nothing to show for it! RW has a dream team surrounding him this year in a very weak NFC so he should make it to the Super Bowl. MG has been impressive so far but give the D-coordinators time just like with any other player. Time will tell!

Mike Glennon earns NFL Rookie of the Month honors.

"That run of strong play has earned Glennon honors as the NFL's top offensive rookie for the month of November. Glennon went 62-of-88 for 785 yards, seven touchdowns and one interception while leading the Bucs to a 3-1 record. Glennon also recorded three passer ratings of 123.1 or better, which are the three highest passer ratings by rookie quarterbacks in Buccaneers history."

Russell Wilson represented NC State well yet again tonight. He was dominant as always in helping his team route the 9-2 Saints by nearly 4 touchdowns. Rivers had a decent day but it was a defensive battle between the two and the better defense won (3 turnovers). He had a pick but it wasn't his fault. Because Gates fumbled the catch, he never technically gained possession and it was ruled an INT. Glennon struggled a bit against the Panthers but they're a tough defense for anyone (opposing QBR avg = 66.57).

    Wilson - 22/30 for 310 yds, 3 TDs, 0 INTs, and a QB Rating of 139.6
    Rivers - 22/37 for 252 yds, 1 TD, 1 INT, and a QB Rating of 80.0
    Glennon - 14/21 for 180 yds, 0 TDs, 1 INT, and a QB Rating of 73.5
