Phillip Rivers is as much of a waste of money as Maria Williams

Talk about a choke artist. Maybe if Johnny Corngood would stop side arming his passes he may actually be a success.

Though we pack fans have bragged about him being a pro QB he really is no good and unfortunately Mike Glennon is in the same boat only worse. Now wisconsins Williams is good but he just played briefly at the pack though we try to claim him as well.
When TOB ran him off it was a typical bonehead move.

Thank you for your honesty. Too little of that around here.

Rivers did the same thing at state. Lights out for 3 and half quarters, then a terrible pass that leads to a pick six. Never been a winner. Go pack.

Sassie who is Williams? I know I've seen Russell Wilson (ncsu grad, 3 year starter, never lost to unc) killing it in Seattle but I don't know who Williams is. We all know you aren't a state fan, get off it.

Especially from you.

Everywhere (each position) you look, Ex-Pack players are OUTearning ex-pansy players.
No wonder they (pansy nation) can't hide their envy for Pack players.

Excuse my earlier mistake as I obviously mean't Russell Wilson from Wisconsin. He did play a few years with us but ended as a Wisconsin player.
Jcwolf75 Sep 10, 12:17 p.m.
Yes after he graduated from state he did enter Wisconsin for grad school and had an awesome year. He was back at an ncsu camp earlier this year, he will always be a wolfpack graduate.
So why are you pretending you're a state fan?

this post really doesn't even deserve a response but really? Rivers has been around a LONG time...he was an elite QB in his early years as a starter, winning their division 4 years in a row. The past 2 years he has had NO ONE to throw to as Jackson and Gates spent most of the time injured AND he hasn't had a decent offensive line in years. Is he the QB he used to be? No, but lets not bench him after one game...he threw 4 TDs and 1 INT...it just happened to be at the worst time.
Russell Wilson is and will always be a part of Wolfpack Nation. TOB was dumb for letting him go but it probably worked out best of RW. He is an outstanding person and I'm glad things have worked out for him.
Mario Williams was a stud in Houston before his injury, but unfortunately, he hasn't been the same since coming back...
By the way, how many UNC and Duke starters are there at QB in the NFL?

Yes, because 200 yards passing on 14 completed passes (and four touchdowns) is a tremendous choke. (And one INT).
How did the Carolina QBs in the NFL do this weekend?
