Truth hurts, baby. It's a wonder that a high level Division I school would put a lowly Division II school in its schedule. I doubt a school of UNC's character would stoop to such an act.

Errrmmm, wait a second. This just in, UNC is scheduled to play UNCP. The heels versus the Lumbees!!? What's happening here?!

Sarcasm - This form of sarcasm is normally used as a way for that person to try and improve their own standing and reputation by putting you down. They might then use sarcasm with the intention of making you or their object of obsession look foolish, and through doing this, they then hope to make themselves look more intelligent and move further up the hierarchy. Such people tend to have low self esteem and so require the use of put downs such as sarcasm in order to try and make themselves feel or look better. These people are like leaches on your self esteem, simply don't let the problem get to you. People who suffer maladies such as this are never worth the effort, as their own self esteem problems are rarely curable.#wellknownFACTallalong

  • TruthBKnown Returns Once Again04 Oct 31, 2013

I'm not one to give credit where credit isn't due (talking about my Wolfpack here)... but I feel better about State than I did after our red-white game. We missed 17 free throws (we can work on that), and we still scored 96 points. And TJ Warren missed a point blank layup and Tyler Lewis missed both free throws in the final minute. Make those and we break 100, despite all the missed free throws.

As much as I wanted to be mad that Pembroke kept it close, we have to give them credit. They hustled, and they shot well, even their most contested shots were falling. We didn't play bad defense is what I'm saying. UNCP shot well, and they rebounded well because they packed the lane with rebounders. But they paid the price for that by giving us better fast-break opportunities.

It was actually a pretty good game I thought. I wouldn't be surprised if that team beat some teams this year, maybe even the Holes tomorrow night. Especially if they actually keep PJ Hairston "suspended". I hope UNC-P didn't waste all their best effort on us last night. Save some for the Holes, boys!!!

  • TruthBKnown Returns Once Again04 Oct 31, 2013

Except for a lot of missed free throws, overall nice win for the Pack! We beat a team that hit their shots last night, despite being contested.

Expect UNCP to win tomorrow night. Bank on it. That's a good team. :)
