... there was no good reason to get rid of that coach, only that he was a bit too snarky for the AD, but he had STATE on track more than not.

Steve Logan is probably one of the few coaches that a program could bring in immediately, yes, at mid season even, and get better results than expected. He has a way of understanding the emotions of a team, he's a uniting force, yes, he could handle this situation right here right now.

I liked the fake punt call. He should do it more often.

Yes, agreed, and I would hire Steve Logan any day for the job over this guy, that kind of crazy, the Logan kind, is better than the sneaky weak kind, and Logan knows his stuff and how to manage a game properly.

... there was no reason to take that kind of absurd risk while leading the game ten to nothing, come on now, it sent a very negative signal to the team (a fake punt on your own thirty yard line), and it shows how desperate this coach is, that sort of thinking becomes contagious.

I think that call going for it own 4th down was Canada's call- he was Wisconsin OC
he is used to big over powering O.L. that was just a bad call- had it worked it would have been called gutsy and probably turned the tide the other way- couple years of recruiting we will have the players coach wants- passing the ball was the problem!!
    they rushed all over carolina!!!!!!!

... the sooner N. C. STATE realizes how great a U it actually is, the sooner it will acquire a worthy coach, yes better coaching = better results, pay up or shut up!

What you are experiencing is the result of the last 5 years of NC State being obsessed with UNC - from the AD down - you had a freakn compliance officer that wrote the NCAA about the outcome of the investigation. Maybe your U should stop worrying about UNC and focus on the pile of dung that is your athletic department

We are State - no decent coach is chomping at the bit to come here, as the last several coaching searches (debacles) have shown.

    N. C. STATE University has the largest enrollment in the State of North Carolina (it's been that way since the 1970s), it is on the cutting edge of technology with it's Centennial Campus, and really now such a U deserves a better football coach, it's truly time!
